Death'sOdor (死臭 , Shishū?) is a Black enemy tech used in Chrono Cross. While attempting to steer the S.S. Invincible away from the Ghost Ship, Serge is confronted by a DeadHead. Periodically throughout the fight, the creature uses this element to inflict negative Status Effects on the party, although the hit rate is relatively low.
Description[edit | edit source]
Coiling up into a ball, DeadHead exhales lavender-colored fumes. Several spouts of the toxic smoke rise off the party when successfully hit by the breath.
Name Origin[edit | edit source]
During the decomposition of a corpse, several noxious-smelling gases are emitted into the atmosphere. When inhaled, the effect is assumedly sickening, which might explain why the name of this tech and the fact that it causes Status ailments.
