SnakeSkin (白蛇の守護 , Shirohebi no shugo, lit. Protection of the White Snake?) is a White tech used in Chrono Cross. After acquiring 19 boss stars, Riddel uses her magical prowess to increase defense by 20% and decrease magic damage by 25%.

Similar to the animations of SnakeFangs and SnakeEyes, Riddel conjures the head of a white cobra behind her. After which, on the selected target, a white vortex will wrap around them, culminating in a star-burst of white and pink light.
Name Origin[edit | edit source]
The skin of a snake, while worn mostly for fashion, does have redeeming qualities as protective and flame-retardant gear. Alternatively, as a member of the prominent Viper Clan, it is not surprising that her technique would image serpentine motifs. However, the cobra in the animation is very different physiologically from a viper.
