HairCutter (ヘッドサーベル , Heddo sāberu, lit. Head Saber?) is Grobyc's Level 5 tech in Chrono Cross. Learned upon acquiring 19 boss stars, Grobyc gains the ability to literally charge up his hair to form a laser blade to slash through all foes present on-screen, dealing fairly heavy damage in the process. This tech may possibly inflict the Cursed and Darkness Status Effects.
Description[edit | edit source]
Grobyc starts off by leaping into the air. A purple-colored energy is observed to form on his hair, before surging and forming a gigantic blade. Grobyc then swings his head at his foes, whereupon the ground underneath them begins glowing with a purple-colored light. This light rushes up, encasing the foes in its radiant hue before dissipating. The foes sustain damage as they are knocked flat onto the ground.
