GaraiShadow (ガライの影 , Garai no kage?) is Steena's Level 7 tech in Chrono Cross. Upon learning this tech, Steena gains the ability to summon the spirit of Garai to perform devastating slashes on a selected target, dealing massive damage in the process.
How to Obtain[edit | edit source]
Bring Steena to the Isle of the Damned (Home World), and have her examine Garai's grave. She will comment that she feels Garai's pain deep within her soul and will promise to fall heir to his dream. She will then receive the tech thereafter.
Description[edit | edit source]
The game speed will slow down as Steena waves her arms in front of her in graceful arcs. A bright flash of light will then appear momentarily before disappearing, and the shadow of Garai will materialize in front of Steena. The shadow of Garai will then proceed to use the two swords it is wielding to deliver two powerful slashes to the selected target. The final slash will send a purple-colored flame to cut through the target's body.
