Pillage (ぬすみ , Nusumi?) is a tech used in Chrono Cross. Learned after gaining 3 boss stars, Fargo gains the ability to steal an item from a selected target in battle.

If Fargo successfully pillages a target, he will triumphantly raise a small sack with blue trimming while removing a cigarette from his mouth and blowing out a puff of smoke. The details of the stolen item will then flash across the screen as a message. If Fargo is unsuccessful in pillaging the target, he will grab a cigarette out of his mouth and throw it onto the ground forcefully in a fit of rage. As he uses his boot to scrape the cigarette on the ground, Fargo will angrily blow out a billow of smoke.
