This tech probably derives its name from the catch phrase used by the popular Warner Bros character, Bugs Bunny. As Janice is portrayed as adopting a happy-go-lucky attitude towards life, much like Bugs Bunny does, the name of this tech thus fits her character perfectly. The Japanese name, on the other hand, is more literal, and instead directly refers to the water gushing out of the ground, as seen in the tech itself.

What'sUpDoc (ガッシュアウト , Gasshu auto, lit. Gush Out?) Janice's Level 7 tech in Chrono Cross. Upon learning this tech, Janice gains the ability to focus all her energy into creating tremendous water spouts and practically cause a selected target to be sent flying.

How to Obtain

Put Janice in the lead of the party and speak to the Octo at the Bend of Time.

Description

Janice will first hold up her carrot and drum into the air as she stretches, before lowering herself to the ground and sitting down. Her drum will tumble in front of her, and using her hands, will beat it repeatedly. This action causes water to gush out underneath the selected target, which gathers in the centre before blasting upwards with such a force that it causes said target to be sent flying. As this happens, the target will sustain damage from the attack.

Name Origin

This tech probably derives its name from the catch phrase used by the popular Warner Bros character, Bugs Bunny. As Janice is portrayed as adopting a happy-go-lucky attitude towards life much like Bugs Bunny does, the name of this tech thus fits her character perfectly. The Japanese name, on the other hand, is more literal, and instead directly refers to the water gushing out of the ground, as seen in the tech itself.
