The BlueMoaman is an enemy appearing in Chrono Cross. Appearing atop the Viper Manor Bluffs during Guile's route, he fights alongside the boss enemy KingMoaman and casts Nimble on him, making him harder to hit with physical attacks. The RedMoaman also fights together with him in this battle.

Battle and Strategy[edit | edit source]

The BlueMoaman primarily uses Blue element support magic (Nimble, as mentioned above, and Cure to heal the KingMoaman) and blue elemental attack techs IceLance and IceSword, both of which target a single party member - the latter is particularly powerful and can inflict the Flu status, so be wary.

In addition to the above, he joins in with the KingMoaman and RedMoaman for their Black triple tech the TwinTurbo, which does large damage to a single party member.

To win this battle, it is recommended to get rid of both this enemy and his Red counterpart, the RedMoaman before focusing on the KingMoaman, due to them having lower HP, because of their focus on buffing their King, and to prevent them from using the triple tech TwinTurbo as well as their individual techs the FlameSword and the IceSword. It is also recommended to come equipped with Ointments and Medicine to cure Burn and Flu Status Effects that the Red and BlueMoamans inflict.
