When inflicted on a character, it does the following:
- In Battle, it reduces the amount of Stamina recovered each turn by 25%.
- Outside of battle, when on the field, it causes the characters to stagger in a zig zag pattern, making it more difficult to move the party in the direction players want.
It can be removed outside of battle with the second-level Blue Element consumable Medicine, with the fourth-level White Element consumable Panacea, or by sleeping at an inn. Equipping the Antiviral Cap or the Star Fragment Accessories to a characters protects them against this status.
