When inflicted on a character, it does the following:
- In Battle, it reduces the physical damage done by that character by 25%.
- Outside of battle, when on the field, it makes it so the party can no longer run, making movement on the field much more sluggish.
It can be removed outside of battle with the second-level Yellow Element consumable Brace, with the fourth-level White Element consumable Panacea), or by sleeping at an inn. In battle, it can also be cured with the fourth-level White Element Purify, as well as HolyHealing, the White Summon Saints, and the Black element Revenge.
Equipping the Plaster Cap protects the wearer from being inflicted with this status.
