List of Chrono Cross accessories

Accessories are one of three kinds of equipment in Chrono Chross (the other two being Weapons and Armor).

Whereas only one weapon and armor can be equipped per character, each of the 45 playable characters in Chrono Cross can equip up to three accessories. Note, however, that only one "Helmet" or "Cap" accessory can be equipped per character - in the chart below, caps and helmets are classified under the "Type" header as "Headgear". The same happens with the glasses, the earrings and the shoes due to a character can only equip one of them, so they are classified under the "Type" header as "Glasses", "Earring" and "Shoegear"; also the Profiteer Purse can only be equipped per character if you obtain another one in a NG+, therefore it has its only header as "Purse", whereas all other accessories are simply classified as "Accessory". Besides, whereas weapons and armor generally only provide bonuses to strength/hit percentage or physical/magic defense/evade (with some exceptions), accessories often provide other benefits.

There are a total of 69 accessories in the game, the majority of which are found in chests, dropped or stolen from monsters, or obtained from sidequests. Almost all of the accessories can be equipped by any character, but there are 4 exceptions - the two tiaras which are female-exclusive, and the two Hero accessories, which are exclusive to Pierre.
