Forget-Me-Not Pot (覚えるツボ oboeru tsubo?) is an accessory in Chrono Cross. This mystic jar allows the wearer to collect various enemies they encounter on their journey and in the Bend of Time. These collected creatures are then added to the list of available monsters that Sprigg can transform into using her Doppelgang tech, and are also added to the pool of monsters one can choose to fight Janice with in the Grand Slam tournament aboard the S.S. Zelbess - winning three successive rounds of the Grand Slam tournament is necessary to recruit Janice to the party.

The character equipped with the Forget-Me-Not Pot must deliver the killing blow for the monster to be added to the roster.

Note that Sprigg does not need this accessory equipped to acquire monsters; she must simply deliver the killing blow while in her normal, non-transformed state.

Info[edit]

Name Origin[edit]

While it seems clear that the origin of this name comes from the pot's ability to store or remember a battled enemy for use later in Sprigg's Tech, Forget-me-not is also a tiny blue flower that blooms in clusters.

Trivia[edit]

  • The creatures kept in the pool for Sprigg's Dopplegang tech determine the randomly summoned monsters that appear in Korcha's seventh-level tech, BigCatch.
