From Chrono Wiki, a database for the Chrono series that anyone can edit

If anyone still reads or checks this wiki (I'm... not sure they do?) I'd like permission to make articles - or for somebody to simply make a stub article for the 10 or so techs that don't have pages (like Cure Wave - Frog Flare), so all the double techs could have pages and I could polish them up. Thanks!

You'll get the permission a few days after registering. I would suggest trying again on the weekend. In the meantime, I can create one or two pages, just let me know which you want. -- Prod (talk) 04:21, 19 June 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]

OK, I didn't know that! I was wondering how one got permission to create pages, but couldn't find any information. Is there somewhere it specifies this? Anyway, it's not really a big deal now that I know this. Thanks for answering.

Right now I'm in the process of trying to clean up the tech, item and equipment pages for Chrono Trigger - so far I've mostly been adding the Japanese names for articles where it's missing (I know Japanese fairly well), but I've also added some other missing information when appropriate (I'll be more free to do the latter when I get all the Japanese names on the wiki, which I think is achievable).

As far as pages I want to see created: specifically, there are some missing Double Tech pages (around 10 of them I believe - it's pretty much the ones at the bottom of that list linked), like Cure Wave and Frog Flare (those links won't lead anywhere right now, obviously). The Single and Triple Techs all already have pages, so no need to worry about those. In addition to those though, I also found out today there's some List of Chrono Trigger armor pages missing. Again, about 9 or 10 articles near the bottom of that list - Reptite Dress and Elemental Aegis are some examples. But honestly I don't want to waste your time if you're busy, so if it's too much to ask right now I can easily just wait however many days it is to get permission to make articles.

One more question I'd like to ask is if there's a place to find templates for item boxes and things like that. Right now I've just been copy and pasting from some of the more detailed articles and learning as I go, but if there's a repository for this stuff somewhere that would be nice.

Again, thanks for answering, this wiki doesn't seem to get much activity anymore, so to be honest I wasn't really sure if I'd get an answer, so it's appreciated. Techs (talk) 05:49, 19 June 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]

It doesn't really mention it anywhere I guess, but it follows wikipedia's policy. I've created the double tech pages, I'll leave the armor pages for you once you can. Copy/pasting is probably the best way to go. You can possibly browse through Category:Templates, but that's probably not very effective. Most wikis get pretty quiet once no new games are released for them unfortunately. -- Prod (talk) 19:54, 19 June 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]

OK, I've never actually created an account on a Wiki before, usually when I have edited one I just edit anonymously. I created this account figuring it was necessary to create pages, so yeah. Anyway, thanks. Techs (talk) 20:00, 19 June 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Extension:Cargo[edit source]

For item pages, you can enable Cargo, which can help generate lists of all items. I'm unfortunately not too knowledgeable on how to use it. -- Prod (talk) 23:55, 9 July 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]

OK, that might be helpful (if I can figure out how to use it anyway, haha). Techs (talk) 00:10, 10 July 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]
