Toma (トマ・レバイン, Toma Levine^?) is a great explorer in Chrono Trigger. He is seen in the Middle Ages, mostly in bars. When you see him, he usually asks for you to buy him a drink. After you buy him a drink, he tells you a story about what is going on. His main mission is to locate the Rainbow Shell that you get later on in the Giant's Claw. His grave can be seen in the Present.

• Toma is seen in every Tavern or Bar in the Middle Ages.
• As seen in the West Cape of Choras, it shows in his grave that his last name is Levine.
• Toma has a descendant named Toma XIII.
• Toma also has a descendant called Toma the XIV, a figure seen in Chrono Cross, the sequel of Chrono Trigger . He plays a minor yet important role in the game.
