Proto Dome (プロメテドーム puromete dōmu?, "Promete Dome") is a location in Chrono Trigger. Appearing in the Future, it is a location of a Gate and where the team first encounters Robo. The word "Proto" in the English name is probably a reference to the word prototype, but the Japanese name "Promete" is probably a reference to Robo's code name, Prometheus (プロメテス purometesu?).
