Biography
King Zeal dies shortly before the events of Chrono Trigger; his death leaves Queen Zeal emotionally susceptible to the growing effects of Lavos's energy as channeled through the Mammon Machine. One of the most interesting enigmas of the series is the nature, appearance, and power of King Zeal.
