Fritz is a character seen in Chrono Trigger.

Story

Fritz was first mentioned when the party is at the pier, and Fritz's sister, Elaine, was waiting for him, because he traveled to Choras. Then, after the party returns to 1000 AD and after they visited the Middle Ages, the Merchants went back to the Market to restock. The Merchant was wondering where Fritz is. Then after Crono was captured, and taken to the Prison Towers, he finds Fritz stuck somewhere, being executed, well waiting to be executed that is. After Fritz is free, he thanks Crono, and runs off. After the party goes back to Truce and after they discovered the Future(2300AD) and visted Medina Village, and the End of Time, they go to the Market, and Fritz finds Crono, and thanks him for everything, Elaine too. Fritz was saying when he traveled to Choras, and visted the Inn, some Guardia Soldiers captured him, thinking he was one of the thieves. Then they were trying to execute him for no reason at all. After Fritz thanks Crono, he gives Crono, 10 Mid-Ethers. He also tells Crono not to tell his father about the free Mid-Ethers. For the rest of the game, Fritz, and Elaine watch the front of the Truce Market.

Oddly enough, the memo in the sewers of the future only appears if Fritz was rescued. Even more startling is the fact that it specifically mentions the guillotine, even if it may most likely be an outdated device by that era. Fan speculation for this untold connection include a descendant, that Fritz himself accidentally traveled through time (as Gaspar may have alluded to with "visitors"), or Robo-Fritz.
