Tropical Paradise (南国日和 nankoku biyori?) is a Frame in Chrono Cross. It is the fourth frame that can be acquired as an item. To acquire this frame, after the events that occur during the first visit to Viper Manor in Another World, Serge and party will find themselves in Guldove. Shortly after Serge wakes up, Kid will fall ill and become bedridden due to poison. Korcha will ask what Serge will do now - choose not to save Kid when given the choice. Proceed with the game as normal for a short while longer and Macha will soon give this frame to the party automatically after a short scene in Macha and Korcha's home.
Note that if one chooses to save Kid, that this frame will become inaccessible for that playthrough. Instead, players will be able to get the Guldovian Stitch Frame, which is exclusive to the "Save Kid" route. Because of this, it is impossible to get both the Tropical Freeze and Guldovian Stich frames on the first playthrough of Chrono Cross; the only way to get both in a single save file is by using New Game Plus.
