— Porre PVT

The Porre PVT is an enemy fought in Chrono Cross. Fully clad in violet-colored suits and metal plates on their shoulders, these nameless infantrymen wield bayonet rifles as their weapons of choice. They also wear leather gloves and boots as extra protection. Porre PVTs can only be found patrolling in both the grounds and the interior of Viper Manor (Another) after the events at Fort Dragonia. Porre PVTs can be trapped in the Forget-Me-Not Pot and added to the pool of Doppelgangs performed by Sprigg.

Battle and Strategy

Porre PVTs usually appear in twos or four, accompanied by at least one or two of their superiors. They attack by either shooting a few rounds of ammunition from their bayonet rifles, or by utilizing the blades on said rifles to slash their foes. Coupled with their fairly high attack power values, Porre PVTs are able to inflict fairly heavy damage through their physical attacks. They are also capable of utilizing a small variety of elements, which are mostly made up of healing ones such as Cure. Porre PVTs also possess a unique skill of their own, which is that of BayonetGun. When activated, BayonetGun allows Porre PVTs to utilize both the ammunition and blade functions of their rifles to inflict fairly heavy damage upon their foes. On the whole, Porre PVTs may prove to be fairly challenging foes, and as such, caution should be exercised when encountering them in battle.
