The Gyroblade is an enemy appearing in Chrono Cross. Gyroblades hover in the air, and take on the appearance of a mechanical eyeball and two blades attached to a gyroscope device. Gyroblades, alongside Aero-Guards, Combots and Gizmotoids, patrol the interior of Chronopolis, attempting to hamper the party's progress to FATE. Gyroblades can be trapped in the Forget-Me-Not Pot and added to the pool of Doppelgangs performed by Sprigg.
Battle and Strategy
Gyroblades usually appear alone while accompanying either Aero-Guards or Gizmotoids into battle. Gyroblades attack by first positioning themselves in front of their foes before bending down in mid-air and swinging their blades at said foes for fairly heavy amounts of damage. They are also able to use a small range of White offensive and healing elements, such as PhotonBeam and HolyHealing. Overall, Gyroblades are a force to be reckoned with, and as such, it is recommended to take them out as soon as possible in battle.
