Lightning II (also known as Lightning 2 in the SNES/PS version) is Crono's 5th-level Tech. It is also one of the spells that Magus starts with when he joins your group.

Lightning II can also be used by certain magical enemies (particularly bosses).
If a Light tech is used on Nizbel, he can release an Electric Discharge which is functionally the same as Lightning II.
Additionally, Magus the Boss uses Lightning II.
