Ice Toss (氷投げ こおりなげ kōri nage?) is a Double Tech used by Marle and Ayla in Chrono Trigger. This tech is the weaker alternative of Iceberg Toss.
Description[edit | edit source]
When cast, Marle summons one large chunk of ice to Ayla, who then breaks and throws the now smaller chunks at multiple clustered targets. A swell of blue energy erupts from the point of impact.
Etymology[edit | edit source]
Quite literally, Ayla tosses chunks of ice at foes.
The Japanese name essentially means the same thing as the English, with 氷 kōri being the Japanese word for "Ice" and 投げ なげ nage being the verb for throw or toss.
