Description Inflict Stop on all enemies.

Boogie (お立ち台 おたちだい o-tachidai?) is a Double Tech in Chrono Trigger. It is performed by Ayla and Robo, and requires both characters to have learned Charm and Robo Tackle, respectively. When used, it will inflict the Stop status on all enemies.

Description

When used, Robo will shoot a green laser beam on to Ayla (which looks like a spotlight, or the light from a discoball), and the two will proceed to zig zag across the screen while spinning much as if they were dancing - while this is going on Ayla will eventually run in to the targeted enemy, which will inflict the Stop status on them.

Name origin

The Japanese name of this technique (おたちだい o-tachidai) refers to an elevated platform, such as a dancing platform seen in disco.
