Heckran possess strong magical techs. While battling the Heckran in Heckran Cave, it says, "Go ahead! Try and attack!" and refrains from attacking the party members. During this period, if the player attacks the Heckran, it counters Water II, which deals large amounts of damage. Alternative turns between attacking and healing to ensure the powerful counter does not knock-out them out. After a brief period, a caption saying, "brief counterattack break" appears, signaling the end of this counter-attack phase of the battle. At this time, it is advised to unleash the party's most powerful techs.
