"I look around the tiny room. There's a sink, pots and pans, and a bunch of food in the cupboards. A rat hangs in a cage off in a corner, but aside from that, it's a pretty average kitchen."
— Serge appraises the Kitchenette

Kitchenette is a room in Viper Manor in Radical Dreamers: Nusumenai Hōseki. Set up like a servant's kitchen, this small room contains all the necessities for cooking. A pot of stew on the stove can be consumed upon Serge's first entrance into the room, but disappears sometime after. This stew heals all of his wounds. Kid, dubious of the contents, refuses to eat from the pot at first, but eventually reconsiders once Serge tests it. Hanging from the ceiling in the left corner is a caged Rat.

Story[edit | edit source]

Entering the Kitchenette, Serge notes the sparseness of detail. Additionally, the scent of a brewing cauldron catches his nose. He eats deeply from the pot, discovering it is stew, and heals his wounds. Before leaving the room, which appears to serve no purpose otherwise, the caged rat in the corner starts speaking. It asks to be released. Agreeing to release it causes it to transform into a Gryphon, who attacks the party. Should Serge manage to stay alive without killing the beast, it reveals the coordinates for escaping the Devil Circle outside the Zeal Ruins, although the Gryphon does not make it clear what the coordinates are for at the time. The Gryphon then flees, to be encountered later in the corridors, utterly consumed by monstrosity, needing to be killed.
