The Einlanzer.

The Einlanzer is both a key item and a weapon in Chrono Cross. It is considered a holy weapon and is imbued with powerful holy energy, according to legend. It can only be used by Garai and his descendants, as no other has been deemed worthy enough to wield this powerful weapon. Even a powerful soldier such as Radius is only able to use its holy power to the extent of dispelling the evil aura emanating from the Masamune.

As a key item, it is used by Radius to dispel the negative energy that is being emitted by the Masamune at the entrance to the Dead Sea, and allows Serge to enter. In order to obtain this item, however, Serge must first defeat Garai in Home World's Island of the Damned.

As a weapon, Glenn (Chrono Cross) is able to use it as a sword. As a weapon, the only sword that is more powerful for him is the Spectral Sword until you obtain his ultimate weapon: the Dual Einlanzers. In order to obtain the second Einlanzer in Another World, Serge has to claim the Mastermune and defeat Dario in Home World. After doing so, head to the grave site of Dario and Garai in Another World and have Glenn (Chrono Cross) in the party. He will pick it up and use both in battle- becoming his ultimate weapon.
