Crimson Shade is a boss exclusive to Chrono Trigger (DS). It appears in the Dimensional Vortex as a dark, shadow-like manifestation of Lucca. She can be charmed for Nova Armor.
Battle Strategy
She attacks individual party members with Barrage for mediocre physical damage, but much like Lucca, her most deadly attacks are her fire Magic: "Shadow Fire" (Fire II) and "Explosion" (Flare) which attack all party members for a large amount of fire damage, so it is recommended to bring fire-resistant equipment, such as the Ruby Armor, to this battle. The Crimson Shade is vulnerable to water attacks, so it might be a good idea to bring either Marle or Frog to this battle, as well.
