Profiteer Purse is an accessory in Chrono Cross. Slightly increasing gold dropped after battle (+25%), the Profiteer Purse can be found in Gogh's Manor in Termina (Another World). While useful for increasing the Gold income of the party, Profiteer Purse is also constructed of the valuable crafting material Iron, and is the only source of that material early on in the game. Disassembling it at Zappa's Smithy allows Serge and his companions to craft weapons such as Steel Swallow and Iron Dagger before entering Viper Manor for the first time.

Trivia

In the Japanese version, it is called the えちごやのさいふ echigoya no saifu, which is the same name as the Workman's Wallet had in the Japanese version of Chrono Trigger.
