Glenn is a knight of the Acacia Dragoons based in Viper Manor in the El Nido Archipelago. Glenn can be paralleled with his namesake, Glenn (Chrono Trigger) aka Frog from Chrono Trigger. Like Frog, he too is knight and a sidekick to a legendary hero, i.e. Frog to Cyrus, which in this case is his own brother Dario of the Acacia Dragoons. Later in the game, he also wields a legendary blade, the Einlanzer in single and dual varieties. Further parallels between the two include the famous X-strike from Chrono Trigger which in this game is performed between Glenn and Serge. Despite all the obvious links between the two characters, they are not related. Frog is from the Middle Ages, while Glenn exists in 1020 A.D. It has been confirmed in official publications that this Glenn is named by Garai after the original hero from Chrono Trigger, but that they are not the same person. With both Einlanzers equipped he is one of the most physically powerful characters in the game.

Story

Glenn is the younger brother of the famous dragoon, Dario, and son to the famous knight, Garai. Glenn is but a mere private in the Acacia Dragoons, but he wants to know just what is going on with Lynx when he becomes suspicious of Lynx's true intentions and so he plans to take a boat there. If recruited, he comes along to find out the truth. Glenn also is one of the few characters to speak during the Dario mission. Glenn is able to equip the second Einlanzer after defeating Dario in the name of striking down evil with the holy swords.

How to Recruit

Glenn is recruited in the not most obvious way. When given the choice to help Kid or not, choose to not help her. When Macha takes Serge into Termina for a brief amount of time, go to the entrance where you first met Glenn. You will see him have a conversation with the flower lady at the entrance once more. Do as you please and when you feel the time is right, return to the boat where Macha is and Glenn will hop down from a ledge and request if he can join you.
