Leah (リーア, Leea) is an orphan living on the isolated island known as Gaea's Navel. She helps guide Serge to the Green Dragon, and after he defeats it, she joins forces with him. Leah's appearance is somewhat similar to Ayla from Chrono Trigger. While Leah's English ability isn't as broken as Ayla's (a fact which can be attributed to the different American localization teams between the two games), she has a tendency to add an -um suffix to some words in her speech. She came from some village, and tells Serge she got to be there after a "land anger". At the end of the game, during the character's closing speeches after beating the final boss, Leah states that she will name her daughter 'Ayla,' which means 'new song of land".
