The Bao Bao (also known as Winged Ape in the SNES/PS version) is an enemy in Chrono Trigger. First appearing in the Forest Maze in Prehistory, it is a big and rotund monster, resembling the body of a modern gorilla. While sharing a similar physique to anatomically modern apes, Bao Bao have some differences. First, Bao Bao have white horns and dark-gray wings, and instead of sporting black fur, their fur is beige.
