"Fanfare 1" (ファンファーレ１?), also known as "Lucca's Theme", is a track composed by Yasunori Mitsuda for the game Chrono Trigger. It is the thirteenth track on the first disk from the original soundtrack. The song first plays when Lucca rescues Crono from the Prison Towers, before his execution. The song plays again in Truce Canyon when Lucca explains the concept of Gates and the Gate Key. The song "Victory ~A Gift of Spring~" from Chrono Cross borrows elements of "Fanfare 1".
