"Gale" (疾風 shippū?) is a track composed by Yasunori Mitsuda for the game Chrono Cross. It is the twentieth track from the second disc of the original soundtrack. The track plays before "Victory ~A Cry in Summer~" and directly after "Navel of the World". The song serves as the primary battle theme song throughout the game. A song of the same name serves the same purpose in Radical Dreamers: Nusumenai Hōseki. The upbeat tempo of the song denotes an air of frenzy and tension.
