The Turret is an enemy in Chrono Trigger that appears in the Blackbird in 12000 BC.
It would appear to be somewhat related (in function, if not what it is) to the enemy Rubble. If the player manages to destroy it before it Self-Destructs, they are rewarded with a large amount of experience and Tech Points; however, at the start of a battle with a Turret, just as with a Rubble, it will use Omnilock to prevent Techs, Combos and Items from being used and most physical attacks miss. It will invariably self-destruct if left alone long enough.
