Schala's Theme is a musical track composed by Yasunori Mitsuda for the game Chrono Trigger. It is the sixth track on the third disk from the original soundtrack. The track first appears when Schala and Janus speak in Zeal Palace, in the presence of Crono. During the "Crono Falls" Full Motion Video on the PlayStation release of Chrono Trigger, "Schala's Theme" plays, both as Lavos devours Crono's essence and as Janus prophecizes that one of the party members will die soon.
