Magus Confronted

"Magus Confronted" (魔王決戦), also known as Fight with Magus or Battle with Magus, is a recurring piece of music compose by Yasunori Mitsuda for the game Chrono Trigger. It is the twenty-fourth track on the second disk from the original soundtrack with a full length of three minutes and thirty seconds.

It plays when fighting Magus in his Keep. The track also plays at North Cape should the party choose to fight Magus instead of recruiting him.

Trivia

When fighting Queen Zeal, if Magus is in the party, this theme plays instead of Zeal's normal boss battle theme.
