The Aecytonyx (also known as Leaper in the SNES/PS version) is an enemy that appears in the Giant's Claw in 600 AD. They share the same sprite as the Crested Sprinter, who appears far earlier in the game.
Battle and Strategy
They normally appear in groups of two or more, but they're generally pretty easy to kill. Since their physical defense is pretty high up it is better to use Magic against these creatures, or Techs that albeit being physical deal Magic damage.
