"Robo's Theme" is a track composed by Yasunori Mitsuda for the game Chrono Trigger. It is the second track on the second disk from the original soundtrack. The track first appears after Lucca successfully repairs Robo for the first time.
The song is very similar to a popular J-pop dance song, TRF's "EZ Do Dance" (1993), which has a very similar melody and chord progression about one-and-a-half minutes into the song. Yasunori Mitsuda, the composer of this song, was most likely inspired by "EZ Do Dance" which was a major chart-topping dance hit in Japan.
