The PortalGheist is an enemy fought in Chrono Cross at Viper Manor. At various intervals through the battle, a PortalGheist will open its door and invite additional monsters through it and onto the battle field. PortalGheist summons monsters such as Komodo Pups and Bulbs.
Etymology
PortalGheist is a portmanteau of "portal" and "poltergeist". As the name suggests, this enemy is a door through which monsters come.
