The Nu is an enemy that can be fought in the Cursed Woods, the Hunting Grounds, and in Enhasa in Chrono Trigger.
Overview
Nu can be fought in the Cursed Woods in 600 A.D., near Frog's den, and at the Hunting Range in 65,000,000 B.C., only appearing when it rains. Nu are also found in Enhasa in 12,000 B.C., working as a merchants or assistants, as well as scattered other areas throughout the game.
Strategy
Nu have two Head-Butt attacks, one which reduces a character's HP to 1, and another which does exactly 1 point of damage. The Nu found in 65,000,000 B.C. can be considered a quick way to gain TP early on in the game, and a good source of the ingredients needed to purchase equipment in this era.
