The Triceratopper (also known as Cera Topper in the SNES/PS version) is headgear in Chrono Trigger, able to be worn by anyone. It can be sold for 1250G. Two of them can be found in chests in Tyranno Lair during Prehistory, but note that once this dungeon is completed it cannot be revisited for that playthrough, meaning this item is missable, as these are the only two Triceratoppers in the game.

Etymology[edit | edit source]

Found in Prehistory, this helmet's name is a portmanteau of Triceratops and "topper", indicating that the item is a dinosaur skull worn on the head.
