Gato (ゴンザレス, Gonzales) is an enemy that can be found at Leene Square in 1000 AD. He is a training robot built and maintained by Lucca. In Chrono Cross, Serge and his party spot him when they go back in time to save an eleven year old Kid from Lucca's burning house. By this time, he is badly damaged and barely functioning. He has a few moments to tell them that Lucca and Kid are still inside before he breaks down completely.
