Manolia Cathedral is a cathedral in 600 AD near Guardia Castle. At first, it appears to be an innocuous cathedral adjacent to a convent. It is revealed to be a Fiend front base from which they conduct their guerilla warfare upon Guardia Castle. Manolia Cathedral is the first major dungeon in Chrono Trigger.
The Fiend Yakra, disguised as the Chancellor of Guardia, is in control of the cathedral, and holds Queen Leene and the real chancellor captive there after kidnapping them. When Crono, Lucca and Frog discover this, they defeat Yakra and set the prisoners free.
The cathedral is destroyed in the war or sometime soon thereafter, as its location has been overgrown by Guardia Forest in 1000 AD.
Hidden Naga Bromide can be found through the door at the top of the left staircase. Search the set of drawers on the left and if you haven't beaten the dungeon yet, prepare for a fight.
