Talk:List of Chrono Cross enemies
Over at wikia, this entire article was redone. A table was created to house all enemies, their stats, and their images. Wonderful, right? I love seeing editors grinding away at huge projects like this. However, I disagree that enemy articles should be blanked and replaced with redirects to the list for several reasons. One, articles such as Lavos (should similar action be taken for Chrono Trigger articles) and BeachBum, for example, have quality content that is now lost. We could never squeeze that information into the narrow table. Additionally, battle and strategy information, especially for bosses, is completely limited to the walkthrough namespace. Not exactly a problem, unless one considers that potential readers are more likely to search the enemy or boss in the search engine, looking for a specific article on that creature. Not to mention, all other wikis, I've edited/read keep each enemy separate.
What I propose we do is add the table/infobox template created at Wikia as a separate template (that is, not replacing the current infobox with a new one, as was done at Wikia), transfer the current contents of this article over here, tweak it up, and link the enemy names to their respective, single articles. Also, on those individual articles, we can link back to the list (maybe at the top or under a "see also" header).
