Perhaps I can answer this problem: spam bots. See this: Special:Log/newusers. These accounts are spam users, and if it were not banning edits and uploading images, the users would do that. Those edits and images are unrelated to the wiki. to become an auto-confirmed edit, I think you need to have edit 50 times and/or have email confirmed. --Vzing 20:05, 13 December 2011 (UTC) | Perhaps I can answer this problem: spam bots. ::Vzing is right. You need to have so many edits before you're permitted to upload new images. Recently, we had a spam bot attacking the wiki, so we need to keep this defense to prevent from undoing, deleting, and blocking the hundreds of spammers we would receive otherwise. If you're getting your image from a specific website, I can try downloading it to my PC and uploading it for you. If not, then, I'd suggest boosting up your edit count until then. :P --— <span style="color:#4B0082; font face=Edwardian Script ITC;">Radical D </span> <small> <span style="color:#BA55D3; text-shadow: yellow 0 0 4px 4px;"> (bother \ </span> <span style="color:#BA55D3; text-shadow: yellow 0 0 4px 4px;"> stalk)</span></small> 20:52, 13 December 2011 (UTC) |
