He did have wounds from battling in the war, so without Leene by his side he might have died from them. The game shows the two getting married; (albeit in an empty cathedral). So if the King and Leene got divorced, and Frog and Leene had a child, then technically as long as the King had no children, that child is the rightful heir to the throne? ITS SO FREAKING CONFUSING! (But yes there was a marriage shown in the ending so that is undeniable) [[User:CommanderCobalt|CommanderCobalt]] 05:08, June 19, 2011 (UTC) | He did have wounds from battling in the war, so without Leene by his side he might have died from them. Good to know. I had no idea, honestly. Since we know nothing about the policies and taboos of Guardian marriages, we can't say whether this was uncommon. It could be a polyandry. Personally, I'm fond of the idea that the King died, but honestly, he probably wives on the side too. | |||

One thing I'm wondering is: Did Leene and Frog actually marry or did they copulate outside of wedlock as is common with royality in real life? I ask this because she is already married to King Guardia XXI. If the marriage was annulled or she was divorced, it would prove that Queens have stronger credential in Guardia than its male rulers-- although I suppose divorce is never mentioned in-game anywhere. But we do know, from game lore, that Leene married into the Guardia family. That means, if she divorced King Guardia, she would no longer be Queen. Alternatively, though, I suppose he could've died and she remarried. So many knots.
