Slash (ソイソー Soisō?) is one of Magus's henchmen, alongside Ozzie and Flea. He then becomes Super Slash later in the game.
Slash later appears as a secret boss in Chrono Cross along with Ozzie and Flea.
Name Origin[edit | edit source]
Due to the localization for the North American market, Slash was renamed to reference the guitarist, Slash, from Guns N' Roses. Since Ozzie and Flea are also named after musicians from similar genres, the renaming for Slash seems appropriate.
His Japanese name comes from Soy Sauce.
Weapon[edit | edit source]
Slash's weapon is the aptly-named Slasher, which, after the first time he is defeated by Crono, can be equipped by him, giving Crono a portion of the speed Slash displayed in their battle.
