The song is most similar to a popular J-pop dance song, TRF's [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LKEWlU4rkxc "EZ Do Dance"] (1993), which has a very similar melody and chord progression about one-and-a-half minutes into the song. In the West, where "EZ Do Dance" was never released, the song is instead often compared to {{w|Rick Astley}}'s "[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ&ob=av2e Never Gonna Give You Up]" (1987) as the background music has some similarities. [[Yasunori Mitsuda]], the composer of this song, stated he has never before heard of Rick Astley or his music.
