The Darkness At The End Of Time is the location where one fights the Time Devourer. It can be reached via Opassa Beach, through use of the Time Egg.

It is also where discarded timelines go once they are destroyed.

Schala was sent here as a result of the events of the Ocean Palace Disaster, and Lavos was sent here after its defeat by Crono and his friends.

It was here that Schala was absorbed by Lavos, becoming the entity known as the Time Devourer.
