==Introduction==
Chrono Trigger Crimson Echoes and later on Flames of Eternity is an unofficial fan fiction game created by Kajar Laboratories as a ROM hack by ZeaLitY, Agent 12, Chrono'99 in development from 2004 to 2009. The game was 98 percent completed when the company Square Enix sent a cease-and-desist letter which resulted in the game getting cancelled. However, the beta game Chrono Trigger Crimson Echoes and later on Chrono Trigger Flames of Eternity was released on rom hack websites and released unofficially on the homebrew Super Nintendo cartridges and also on Gamebox 128 USB drive for Playstation Classic and also released on Retropie SD card with Chrono Trigger Crimson Echoes and Flames of Eternity for Raspberry Pi 3, 4.

This Chrono Trigger fan fiction sequel is not official nor is it sponsor or endorsed by Square Enix since they sent a copyright cease and desist strike letter to Kajar Laboratories. With that said here is the walkthrough guide for both Chrono Trigger Crimson Echoes and Chrono Trigger Flames of Eternity. Also keep in mind this game is much harder and requires more level grinding than Chrono Trigger. There are a few game breaking glitches which can make it unplayable and cause you to reset the game, otherwise you should be able to beat the game. There are 7 playable characters including Crono, Marle, Lucca, Robo, Magus, Glenn and Alya. 

Some of the Single Techs from the original game have been changed for Magus, Robo, Glenn and spells like Haste can now be cast on all 3 characters instead of 1. Marle from Chrono Trigger isn't the best character to use since they never let her use cure spells on all 3 characters and still restricted to 1 like in the original game. You'll be forced to play as Marle in certain sections with Ice 2 being her most powerful spell. But I usually leave Marle out since she is still the weakest fighting character in the game.

'''Crono-''' The Main hero of the game who fights with a Kanata and slaughters them with a Kanata sword and now talks in the game for some unknown reason. He is now Prince of Guardia Castle and is also known as King Crono. Crono in my opinion is the strongest best fighting character next to Ayla, Robo, Magus. He has strong physical attack. You can get his Rainbow Sword early on in the game at the Coliseum and he can kill most enemies in one hit. And has a confuse tech attack which attacks an enemy 4 times and can cast life spell. He is the third best party member which I always keep in in the party.

Marle is the worst party member character even in this fan fiction sequel. I'm disappointed the Kajar developers didn't bother to fix her cure spells to target all allies, However, they did fix her haste spell which now targets all 3 characters, but it still becomes obsolete by Hermeshelm, but it doesn't change the fact that her bow attack is weak, and she has only 2 Ice attacks which suck, and she still gets outclassed by Glenn's Water 2 attack and cure spells and just on good Life 2 spell. At a certain point in the game, you are forced to play as Marle all by yourself and you'll want to level her up at the coliseum because she will get clobbered by monsters like Reptites and you'll have to equip a counterattack accessory on her, otherwise the game is unwinnable. I always bench Marle and I never have her join my party unless I'm forced to otherwise, I'd pick a better character like Crono, Ayla, Magus, Robo or Glenn instead and keep Marle benched at all times. And if you players want a Challege, have Marle in the party at all times for a Challege because she sucks big time as a fighter and magic user.

In the Flames of Eternity update many changes from Crimson Echoes have been made including
* There is now a new opening sequence for the character introduction which is unskippable.
* Glenn is now in his human form instead of in his transformed Frog form.
* Some of the text has been updated and changed.
* The exclusive spells for Magus and other characters featured in Crimson Echoes have been reverted back to his spells used in Chrono Trigger.
* The Coliseum Hard mode enemies which originally featured Nus and other enemies have been replaced with new enemies. However the game will randomly lockup upon choosing to fight round 1.
* The Shopping Mall now features different wares than in Crimson Echoes.
* In the Flames of Eternity version, when Crono discovers Marle's dead skeleton remains in her dungeon cell, he restrains himself from slaughtering the 2 Reptites whereas in the original Crimson Echoes version he is full of rage and slaughters 2 Reptites for revenge on not being able to save her.
* Alya's husband Kino is alive and they now have 2 daughters Noah and Leah whereas in the original Crimson Echoes Kino was killed by Reptites and Alya is a widowed with a daughter Noah.
* Some of the songs use an arranged version of Chrono Trigger or even use songs from Chrono Cross.
* In the later updates of Flames of Eternity version, you can actually go the Telepod center and teleport to another city which you can explore in the sidequest bonus section including the history of Guarida and Porre history. Although it's not part of the game and doesn't affect the gameplay.

Early on in the game, the player can choose to take the ferry to Choras and go to the auction house and get Mid-Ethers and rare accessories. Make sure to go to the future 2305 AD at the coliseum and fight 3 Nus for 8 BP and trade them for Elixirs and Megalixirs which can be sold for 10,000 gold and 25,000 gold. Then when you get the the auction house the auctioneer will usually present Mid-Ethers and will randomly present Dash Rings and Magic Seals accessories which you can win as much as you want. The Dash ring will help characters like Robo, Lucca has 6 speed points and Marle 8 speed points give them 3 speed points up to 9 speed points.

Ask to fight in a TEAM battle under the HARDEST difficulty!

In the Crimson Echoes version: You will fight 3 Nu's. The Nu's attacks have a chance to inflict a random damage type. The types are as follows: A) Current hp -1, in other words it leaves you with 1 hp. B) 1 Damage. C) 0 Damage.

Heal when your hp is 1 while inflicting aoe magic damage.

Revive dead characters with Revive item and restore MPs with ethers mid-ethers.

In Crimson Echoes version, When you win your battle against the 3 Nu's, make sure you exit the coliseum, or you will die against Spekkio if you choose to continue! And you will win 8 BP 60 Tech points and 496 exp every time.

In the Flames of Eternity version: The Nus in hard mode are replaced with Nagini who can easily kill a party member under 230 HPs. Make sure you have Fire Sword for Crono and Lucca. Have Marle Cure. Nagini will randomly poison your character but don't worry about it focus on curing the party member. Once you defeat the enemy you will win 8 BP, 7 Tech points and 1890 exp every time. make sure you exit the coliseum. Also it is best to fight 4 rounds in hard mode which will net you 20 BP. You can also trade the BPs for elixirs and MegaElixirs for money and sell them for 10,000 Gold and 25,000 Gold allowing you to buy supplies and win accessories including Magic Seal and Dash Rings at the Choras Auction house.

You can even use your battle points to buy the Rainbow sword 250 BPs for Crono and Dream Team accessory 160 BPs each, for an extra fighting edge. Also, you can equip the Dream Team on your character for an auto life making it useful for fighting the 3 Nus in hard mode coliseum if the player chooses to fight alone. The Dream Team can be useful if the enemies kill your ally and allows for an auto revive which is used one time per battle.

Early on in the game you can learn Magus Double Tap tech which at first doesn't deal much damage. But later on, when you get Cyan Cover which absorbs water damage. Equip it on Magus and he will deal 17,600 HP damage, making dungeons and difficult boss fights much easier especially those new to the game or don't want to be challenged.

For this list I would invest in leveling up Crono and recruiting Ayla as they'll make the game much easier since they are the strongest best fighting characters especially for beginners. Magus is a must have character due to the Double Tap cheat glitch which makes him even more powerful that Ayla and is recommended for beginners. Marle is an awful worst character you want to bench from your party unless you want the hard challenge of using her lousy bow attack and lousy cure and Ice Attacks, she does have haste but it becomes obsolete from Hermeshelm which has auto-haste. Robo is very powerful with fire and lightning attacks, and Frog is a powerful swordsman and has a Braveheart attack, Lucca has powerful fire attacks. So for beginners have Crono, Magus, Robo or Frog at all times. Make sure you save Ayla since you'll get her late in the game as she's worth saving. For veterans the hard challenge, have Lucca, and Marle the worst party member at all times for an extra hard challenge and don't equip Magus with Cyan Cover or else it makes the game too easy.

This game is much harder since there aren't as much speed tabs as they are more rarer than Chrono Trigger. Go to Choras auction house to bet on Dash Rings which will help slow characters like Marle, Robo, Lucca speed up. Also, if you find a rage band make sure you equip it on Marle in her 1 AD scenario as she will fight all by herself and needs to counterattack.

Early on in the game once you reach the Coliseum in 2305 AD. You can win the most powerful sword for Crono which costs 250 BP. It is highly recommended that you get the Rainbow Sword for Crono since it is the most powerful weapon and will help you defeat enemies early on in the game.

Crono can explore 1005 AD in the town Truce like in the original Chrono Trigger game, the Millennial Fair is now renamed Leene Square, there is now a ferry that can go to Medina Village, Choras is now a tourist attraction town which has an auction site, a casino and shooting gallery. But the ferry has been cut off by Porre. The town Porre is under martial law and now has a military boot camp. Fiona's Forest can now be explored and there's also Denadoro Mountains which has a portal gate that's created to enter in the present. There's also a Truce Cathedral.

Many of the locations featured in Chrono Trigger has been removed Crimson Echoes including Heckran Cave is now sealed off as is the whirlpool, the player no longer gets to explore Guardia Forest.

First of all, get the Magic Tab which is found in Fiona Forest and buy tonics which you'll need, you can also get the Power Tab in Porre Mayors Manor. When you're done, head immediately to Guardia Castle to meets up with Marle and Lucca.

They will have a political meeting with King Guardia XXXIII in the kitchen downstairs who they meet 2 suspicious Porrean soldiers in armor one of them named Ingrus and the other Drill Sargent as they complain to King Guardian about 3 grieveances. Ingrus and Drill Sargent storms out of the room and the Chancellor is late for the meeting. Crono, Marle and Lucca follows them in the Treasurey room and learns they are plotting to assassinate the Chancellor and overthrow Guardia. Crono, Marle and Lucca attack and kills Drill Sargent and they run after Ingrus on the Zenan Bridge but Lucca forgot she has the time egg prototype. They corner Ingrus at Denadoro Mountains but Lucca accidently drops the time egg prototype and breaks it, and it opens a time portal door to the year 2305 where they are in Belthasar Labotory called Chronopolis and is greeted by Robo and Belthasar and the adventure begins.

===Legacy of Zeal===
The chapter begins with Magus wandering in the wilderness with a blizzard and then he passes out and is rescued by one of the villagers from Last Village where he recovers. He then goes to the Last Village Commons to meet with the Chief Elder who asks Magus to find Sargon to ask for permission to use the Zeal Healing.

Head down to Mist Village and enter Sargons House and ask him for permission to use the Zeal Healing square, then head back to Last Village Commons and talk to the Village Elder, Dalton will show up and confront Magus. Afterwards go down to Sargons House and you'll find out that Dalton went into Beast Forest. Head into Beast Forest. Note the beasts are harder in this game. You'll want to have Magus use Omishield tech to boost defense and magic defense which will protect him. There is a Magic Tab which can be found in the west area of Beast Forest. go up and use the save point to save your game. You'll confront Dalton and fight a difficult boss called Golem Boss. Immediately cast Omishield and use Tonics and Mid Tonics to heal Magus, Golem will use Iron Orb which will cut your HPs in half. Cast Dark Bomb and Double Tap and heal until Golem Boss is defeated but watch out for Dalton Burrp counterattack which can kill Magus if he doesn't have enough HPs.

After the boss is defeated head up to Daltons Dungeon which is past Last Village. You'll encounter 2 Lashers and a Jinn Bottle. Watch out for the HP drain from Jinn Bottle and cast Omishield. immediately attack the Jinn Bottle using Double Tap and then use Dark Bomb on 2 Lashers. The Zeal Villager will tell you to read the clues in the tombstone. Otherwise, you'll encounter a dead end with Golem who will defeat Magus and make him fall in the basement of the room with a save point which you need to save your game.

Here's the answers to the riddles, Lasher uses knife go left, the airplane ship is called Blackbird go up, Enasha color is gold so go up, in Zeal the magic often used is Shadow so go right, also the tombstone will tell you not to be deceived with your eyes. There's a fake wall up in the room, walk up right through it, Zeal is powered by the sun so go up, you'll fight 2 Lashers and Jinn Bottle afterwards touch the statue and you'll be teleported to Daltons room where you will confront Dalton. You'll fight Dalton Plus but since Magus is weak, he'll be defeated immediately and imprisoned by Dalton and the chapter will end

===Double Trouble===
The story goes back to Crono, Marle, Lucca where they visit Chronopolis and Belthasar will explain the mission to them. Afterwards this is a good time to explore 2305 AD. Go to the shopping mall and meet Johnny the man and he will give you '''Moldybread.'''

At this point it would be a good idea to go west over to the Coliseum to level up Crono, Marle, Lucca to build up their levels and tech points. Make sure you get Antipode for Marle and Lucca by choosing to fight easy. You'll also want to stock up on tonics, ethers and revives. Then when you're ready choose to fight hard as a group, you'll fight 3 Nus, 2 of the Nus will drain your HPs to 1, while the third Nu will damage your player with 1 HP. Use the revive Item on the fallen party member. Keep using Antipode until you defeat 3 Nus. You'll get 496 Exp, 60 tech for each battle you win. Choose to quit and you'll get 8 BP. Repeat until you level up Crono, Marle, Lucca and get all of their tech magic spells. You can also trade it in for Elixir and MegaElixir and sell it for 10,000 and 25,000 gold which will allow you to buy and stock up on items. You can also get '''Dream Team''' accesory which will allow for one auto revive per battle.

After you're done with the Coliseum, go back to Chronopolis and go down the elevator and explore the basement. When you head back to the elevator you'll encounter Ingrus a Porre Agent who will jump up. Follow him and go to the Dispatch Chamber where Ingrus will get caught and they'll drag him back to 1005 AD.

Crono, Marle, Lucca, Porre Agent arrive in 1005 AD in Denadoro Mountains and they question the Agent but he runs off and they follow him to Porre.

At this point if you have enough money. Go over to the Truce Ferry and go to Medina Village, then board the ferry to Choras. Don't bother with the Casino slot machines, roulette, blackjack or the shooting gallery since there's an easier faster way to earn money at the coliseum in 2305 AD. There is a Choras 
museum which you'll need to trade a '''wooden idol''' later on. You'll want to go to the Auction House to bid on items if you have enough money. Most of the time you'll bid on Mid-Ethers but other times you'll bid on Dash Rings, Magic Seals. You'll need Dash Rings for slow characters like Lucca and Robo and Marle since they are the slowest characters in the game.

Once you are done with Choras Auction, head back to Medina Village on the ferry. Please note there is a closet where you go into a time portal which will take you to 2305 AD. Then go on the ferry back to Truce. Go through Fiona Forest and head over to Porre Camp where Marle will meet with the Sergeant and demand to be let in. There is a generals tent headquarters but you can't quite go in yet. So go down to the lower South East corner and you will encounter 2 soldiers who are sick. Choose to borrow the soldiers clothes and Crono will knock them out. Then Crono and Lucca will be disguised as Porre Soldiers. Head over to the Generals Headquarters and Marle will have a meeting with the General Montcrief which doesn't go well. After the meeting head back to Fiona Forest but unfortunately it will get dark. So head over to Fiona's Shire and sleep until it's morning. Then go to Zenan Bridge but after you cross it. The Zenan Bridge will be under attack by Porre Soldiers. Fight the Soldiers and then they'll bring in their Dragon Tank clone Chimeratank. Attack the head and wheels with the tech magic spells including Antipode, Luminare, Flare. If you leveled up early on in the coliseum it will be an easy fight. After you defeat the tank go to Leene Square to the time portal or head over to the ferry to Medina Village and go in the closet to the time portal to 2305 AD.

Once you arrive at Chronopolis, talk to Belthasar and he'll explain what's going on with Porre Agent. Then a security breach will occur at Chronopolis which the reactor is under attack. You'll have to leave one of your party members behind. I usually leave Marle behind. Head over to the elevator and you'll be ambushed by Mage. Use Cronos Rainbow sword and you should dispatch it easily. Go down the elevator and run over to the reactor room and you'll fight 2 Blue Shields. You'll need to wait for the shadows to come out of hiding and then use Cronos rainbow sword and other attacks. After the Blue Shields get defeated the area will be secure. Go back up the elevator and talk to Belthasar. He will explain the concept of time travel and he will send your party members to the Ocean Palace Ruins in 19,995 BC.

===Beneath the Azure===

'''Warning: Do not use Robo's Tech Steel Crash against the enemies or you run the risk of crashing the game. If you use Steel Crash Tech, sometimes the game will randomly freeze up and you'll have reset the game and start over from the last save point.'''
Once you arrive at Ocean Palace Ruins, you'll be fighting Martello Turrets and Panels and Deceased skeletons. You can get treasure chests. When you're done exploring head up north, you'll find Speed Belt and you'll encounter Schala at the remains of the Mammon Machine. Magus will free himself from the barrier and head over right to the Ocean Palace Ruins and rescue Schala from King Zeal. Magus will fight King Zeal himself but he will lose the fight, you can steal MegaElixir from Zeal. After Magus gets defeated Zeal will steal Masamune and stab Magus and escape with the sword. Magus survives, have Magus run back to the time portal gate where he will meet up with the party members. They will go back to the year 2305 AD.

Magus will run over to the infirmary to be reunited with Schala and won't be in your party for a while. Have Crono and the team go down the elevator and talk to Magus in the infirmary room where he will talk with Schala. Leave the room and Melchior will have a talk with the party members and explain that history has been altered because King Zeal stole the Masamune Sword, history has been altered and the war with the Mystic War now won't end until 650 AD. After the conversation go up the elevator and head over to the dispatch chamber. You may go to 1005 AD and find that there is now a Knight's Headquarters which didn't exist before. When you're done go to 605 AD at Truce Canyon and you'll find out that Glenn will have a Knights headquarters built and the tension feud between Truce, Porre and Medina has been increased because the Masamune sword was stolen.

Some of the areas from Chrono Trigger including Guardia Forest, Magic Cave and Cursed Forest and Denadoro Mountains is longer accessible. Also, at the Truce Cathedral the player can no longer access the secret hideout from the organ which can't be played.

You can give the moldybread to the Mayor's wife in Porre mansion and she will give you a Wooden spoon, get three of them, which can be traded at the Choras Museum in 1005 AD. You can also go back to 2305 AD at the shopping and get more moldybread from Johnny the Man.

Head over to the Dorino Fields and you'll fight Ozzies troops and you'll meet up with Glenn who will fight the Mystic Hench guard. Note if Glenn dies it will be game over. So use slurp and Venomfield. If your HPs are low, use Braveheart and he should be able to defeat Hench. Afterwards they will have a discussion with Glenn about the Altered timeline and will explain why Cyrus wasn't the hero and mention a new general named Kasmir, he built the Vanguard headquarters to protect Truce from the invasion of Porre and Medina. Frog will lead the party and will not time travel yet.

===Murmurs of Red===

Go in the tunnel and enter the first room and rescue Samuel the soldier, he will take care of the Hench enemies and you can get a rage band which you'll need in the game. You'll encounter Kasmir who is the general replacement for Ozzie. You'll fight him, and once you defeat him, he will retreat. Go out the tunnel and you'll find that Magus Castle and Ozzies castle are now gone. Go to the Mystic Den forest. Frog will meet 2 wounded soldiers and have 2 party members leave him to fight alone. You'll meet with the 3 generals about the battle strategy on how to stop the fighting. You have 3 options to choose from which will affect history in 1005 AD.

*Side with Porre
*Side with the Mystics
*Declare Neutrality

If you haven't leveled up Frog. I would suggest to Declare Neutrality since it will allow Glenn to get free items from the deceased enemies including Rage Band and a free '''Speed Tab''' which can be used to give a speed point to Robo or Lucca.

If you choose Side with Porre or Side with the Mystics you'll have to fight some enemies. And after the battle is over 2 party members will meet up with Glenn. Leave the forest.

You can also do the side quest by going over to Medina and talk to the blue imp and give him '''Moldybread'''. Give him '''Moldybread''' 3 times and he'll give you a '''Wooden Idol''' item.

You can visit 1005 AD and see what changed due to one of Glenns 3 choices which won't affect the game. It will now rain in Leene Square. For some strange reason the audio music locks up, but you can still move around. Thankfully once you're done with Leene Square you can leave. You can no longer use the time portal gate in Leene Square since it's sealed off so you'll have to go to Medina Village in the closet to go to 2305 AD. Head down the elevator and meet with Magus and they'll have a meeting with Belthasar who will explain that the dreamstone is losing power and needs Magus and the 2 party members to retrieve his notes by going back in time to 12,001 BC using a scanner. He will give you a time egg which was used to save Crono from Lavos. After the meeting head up the elevator and go in the dispatch chamber and go to the year 12,001.

===Asking the Mirror===

Once you arrive in the Magic Kingdom you can go to Enhasa, Kajar, Zeal Palace, Blackbird Airplane but you won't be able to go down to Earthbound kingdom.

There are 5 rocks to collect in Enhasa, Kajar, Zeal Palace, Blue Rock, Black Rock, White Rock, Gold Rock, Silver Rock. Make sure you open the chests otherwise you won't be able to collect them once you leave 12,001.
The Nu will ask a riddle and the answer is "Kajar" in case you can't figure it out.

Head over to Enhasa and open Belthasar secret lab. Scan the notes and the security alarm will go off. Fight the Nu and afterwards the party will hide and see Dalton and 2 Lasher guards. You'll fight 2 Lasher guards. Take them out and then use the time egg to go back to 2305 AD. At this point you'll no longer get to go back to 12,001 BC.

===The Breaking Point===

Once you arrive at Chronopolis, talk to Belthasar and give him the scanner item, he'll explain what's going on with King Zeal and explain about the dreamstone and also explain the origins of the Frozen Flame which consumed King Zeal. Go rest up in the infirmity. Then go up the elevator and Belthasar will explain that you need to find the Dragon's Tooth which is located in 64,999,995 BC.

Once you arrive in 64,999,995 BC, go over to Laruba Village and you'll find out that Ayla has gone over to the Singing Mountain. Also, get the soup bowl which you can trade at the Choras Museum. There is a Frog Hunting range. Don't worry about it for now and come back later.

Once you arrive at the Singing Mountain. Go in the cave and watch the Reptite play the drums which opens a secret passage. Go up the mountain and you'll fight Reptites and Avian Rex. The first drum part to the right dead end is guarded by Avian Rex which can be defeated easily. open the chest and get the first drum part. The second drum part is located to the left of the ladder guarded by Avian Rex, afterwards get the second drum part in the chest, climb the cliff down and run left to the cave and run left in the cave and exit the cave and run up through the foliage and you'll see a chest in the upper right corner which contains the third drum part and finally run right to the dead end and open the chest and you'll find the final fourth drum part and the drum will be assembled. Run all the way down to the entrance of the cave and go in the first cave where you witnessed the Reptite entering the secret passage. Play the drums in the order that's shown from the right to left from high, medium and low pitch moon symbols.

You will enter the secret cave passage and see a Reptite who was knocked out and witness Ayla getting ambushed and attacked by the giant Reptite. The party will intervene and fight the boss using Thorhammer. After the boss is defeated. The scene will switch out to Crono, Marle, Lucca walking through the jungle and getting ambused by 2 Megasaur which can be defeated with lightning Tech. Crono will confront the Reptite who has the Dragon Tooth but it disappears and an earthquake happens and the 2 parties Magus, Robo, Glenn, Crono, Lucca and Marle will gather together at the Tyranno Lair ruins to witness King Zeal in a barrier, Ayla will try to attack him but she will get knocked out. King Zeal will chant a magic spell. Crono can either choose to fight King Zeal or save Ayla, choose to save Ayla so that she can join your party later on. Marle will then throw the Dragon Tooth in a time portal and King Zeal will send Marle in a time portal following Lucca and Robo in a time portal, and finally Crono, Glenn and Magus in a time portal. History will change and the Reptites will rule the world.

===An Emerald Dream Pt. 1===

You will play Marle's storyline which Marle is all by herself. '''This is the toughest scenario since Marle is the weakest character in design. This is my least favorite part and the worst level to go through.''' Make sure to either equip her accessory with Dash Ring or Rage Band since she will be fighting all by herself. You'll want to use Ice and Ice 2 and Haste and Cure tech spells she will fight with her weak bow attack.

Marle will be in Astur Hill and be greeted by 2 surviving villagers who will invite her down to the Last Refuge Village. Go down but make sure you get the Power Seal in the Treasure Chest in the Entrance.

Make sure you stop by and go to Lost Woods and get a speed tab that located in the upper right dead end.

Go to the Last Refuge Village and talk to Cedric and he will send you on a quest in the Snaking Woods to find a lost girl. Go right to Snaking Woods. It is easy to get lost in the woods here is the order you must go in. Left, Up, Right, Down, Right, Up and you'll find a path guarded by 2 monsters. Go left and you'll find the lost girl. Take her back to her father and you'll be rewarded with a SilverErng. Go over to Cedrics hut and talk to him, he will explain that you need to go to Dinopolis. Go back to Snaking Woods in the same order sequence and you'll fight Reptite and Fossil Ape.

Then you'll exit out on the world map. Go inside Dinopolis and Marle will infiltrate the lair. You can open the switch and push rocks in the hole which will affect the future for, Lucca and Robo, Crono, Magus, Glenn later on. Run upstairs until you find the small cube on the desk. Marle will get caught by  the Reptite leader and Marle will fight the reptile and Fossil Ape guards. It doesn't matter if you win or lose the fight Marle will still be thrown in the dungeon cell where she will helplessly witness Cedric getting ambushed and fighting the reptite invasion and getting killed. With the last of the humans killed. There is now a human extinction and Marle will give up hope and die in the cell in 1 AD. and the story sequence ends. Transfer the equipment for Lucca and Robo.

===An Emerald Dream Pt. 2===

Lucca and Robo will wake up to find out that they're in the alternate 2305 AD where they are in the Robots hideout. 
There is a '''speed tab''' which can be found at the dead end hallway in the jar to the right end.

You need to speak to the Robot Operator and he will tell Lucca they're in Tixiz Dome and the Reptites now rule the world and suppress the robots, he'll tell you about Xamoltan that the last remaining humans in 1 AD including Cedric has been killed. He will be interrupted by the robot guard and explain the mission to infiltrate the Robot Huacan factory to stop the virus. Robo and Lucca agree.

Head outside and go all the way west until you find the Huacan factory. Enter in the room, activate the teleporter on the computer and go left to the teleporter to another room in the conveyor belt factory, you can fight Alkaline and Acid for 3000 gold in the southwest corner and 3000 gold in the Northeast corner. Cross over the bridge and try to go up the ladder but the Reptite will sound the alarm and you'll fight R series and Reptite, once they're defeated climb up the ladder and push the button to open the door, climb back down the ladder and go in the unlocked door to the far left. Then you'll be in the computer room. Ignore the reptite as you can't do anything to the computer. Get the Lapis in the chest to the right. Go up in the door. Then go to a save point room to save your game. Go in the hallways to the second right door and fight the Reptite, Display and Proto 2. After the fight push the control panel and reprogram the robot to be on your side, exit in the hallway. Open the chest to the east and get a Rage Band and go up in the door to get 1000 Gold exit the room and go down the hallway all the way west and enter the far left door. Go up and get the '''Zonker8000''' from the chest. Go up the ladder and exit the room and you'll encounter a conveyor belt puzzle. Which is very tricky to solve since you need to get the oil drums out of the way on the conveyor belt.

There are six conveyor belt buttons, press the first button, second button, forth button, fifth button, and finally press the sixth button and the robot will kick the oil can down the chute. Go back and press the third button, press the fifth button and press the sixth button. Then go back and press the third button and press the sixth button. Go back and press the fifth button twice and the fourth button and finally press the sixth button. The oil drum should roll out on the conveyor belt and the robot will kick it and it should roll right until it falls in the hole and gets stuck. Then you press the third button twice, fourth button twice, fifth button once, first button once and finally the second button. Then run on the conveyor belt walkway and the oil drums should be out of your way. Exit the room to the right and go to a save point to save your game. Run up and meet Reptite Chief and you'll fight Reptite Alkaline, 2 R Series, after the fight Lucca will override the drive and the door will open to exit out and the mission will be completed.

Head back to Tixiz Dome and talk to Operator and he will give explain what happened and why the Reptite timeline happened, he will give you the password Kalus to mention to the robot agent Repton. Go southwest and stop by the dome residence and the robot will give Robo a '''Lamellar X'''. Then go to the castle called Dinopolis. Talk to Repton and he will let you in. Depending on the path Marle Opened, follow the path downstairs and get a Full Ether from the egg box. You'll be fighting reptites and proto 2 robots, go left upstairs. There is a '''Magic Ring''' in the egg box to get. Go up the stairs and get Elixir. Go downstairs and go right upstairs and go to a save point to save your game. Go up the stairs and jump down into the arena and meet the Serpent. You'll fight a boss battle VisionSrpnt.

'''Note, if you're under leveled or don't have enough tech points, this will be a very hard fight. Hopefully you leveled up Lucca, Robo with Tech abilities earlier in the Coliseum arena otherwise this boss fight will be super hard and almost impossible. Also, he will cause chaos status aliment which you need heal items.'''
Use Luccas Flare, or dual tech like Robo Punch, Robo Tackle, Thorhammer, Pulsevulcan until VisionSrpnt is defeated.
After the battle run in the portal room you'll see a portal but sadly it will disappear and you'll automatically fail the mission. There's nothing you can do but go back to Tixiz Dome and share the bad news to the Operator that Lucca and Robo are stuck in the Reptite future timeline which they're stranded in. Afterwards Lucca and Robos story will end and the story sequence will end. Transfer the equipment for Crono, Magus and Glenn.

===An Emerald Dream Pt. 3===

Crono, Magus and Glenn will wake up in the year 1000 AD in a Jungle in the Reptites timeline. You'll get ambushed by Gigasaur, Shitake, fight them until they're defeated. Go left and get Lapis and Cabrakan. You'll encounter Lizardactyls and other enemies, go down the vine and exit south and you'll come across a Reptite village square. Go to the save point and save your game. Then go right and up and go to the Reptite arena and talk to Coyopa the Dino leader twice and he will explain that he is a time traveler from the future and that humans went extinct after their leader Cedric was killed in 1 AD. Talk to Coyopa and he will invite you to join the arena contest, choose yes and you will watch Vicks and Wedge fight and the cave ape. You will then fight in the arena and fight against Cave Ape round 1, Gigasaur round 2 and 2 Gigasaur and Cave Ape. They'll be easy to take down if you use lightning to lower their defense and use sword attacks and tech spells. After 3 rounds, Coyopa will declare victory to your team and invite them to meet them at Peace Canyon. Talk to the Gigasaur and he will give you '''Shadeshawl'''. Go down and go left, then go up and fight Lizardactyls and open 2 chests to get '''1500 gold''', and 1 '''Elixir'''. Enter into the Coyopa cave and you'll have a meeting discussion with Coyopa and Yaluk and learn they are time travelers who witness history but not interfere with it. Crono, Magus and Glenn will lie to them about being space travelers. After the meeting is over go outside and talk to the reptite and he'll tell you to go to the smithy located in the west area. At this point you'll want to do the Smithy side quest.

Go all the way down and go left in the Reptite square village and save your game at the save point. Go left one screen and go up until you reach the inn, go inside and go in the back door and you'll meet the reptite named Smithy, talk to him and you'll learn he doesn't like time travelers and will offer to help your party members. He'll ask the team to fight the beasts so his men can gather materials to forge elemental armor.

Go right and fight Cave Ape and Beetle until they're defeated, go in the bushes to find a '''Power Tab''', then go up and you'll be ambushed by 2 Cave Apes, fight them until they're defeated, then go up to a dead-end pond and fight Cave Ape, Beetle 2 Octobino fight them until they're defeated. Open the left chest to get a Mid-Ether and over to the right is a hidden '''Power Tab''' to get. Go all the way down and go left and go up to the inn and go in the back door and save your game at the save point. Talk to Smithy and he'll tell you his men can take care of the rest and have Crono, Magus and Glenn turn in for the night. Later that night Crono, Magus, and Glenn will have a meeting about Dinopolis and about the Masamune changing history and the concern about Magus reuniting with his sister Schala. The next morning, talk to Smithy and he will give you '''Cyan Armor''', '''Cloud Cloak'''

'''Note: There's an unintended useful glitch in the game that you can exploit, which will actually boosts Magus Double Tap Tech. Go to the menu and go to Magus armor section and pick Cyan Armor for him to equip which absorbs water damage. When he uses Double Tap tech, It will cause him to do over 8800 HP damage twice resulting in 17,600 HP damage and ignoring defense. This glitch will help Magus out in the hard boss fights and enemies with high defenses and at the Coliseum and make Magus a powerhouse even more so than Ayla and Crono.'''

Head all the way down and go right to the Reptites village square and save your game, go down and go right and you'll meet with Porre Cyborg and they'll have a meeting and discuss their plan on getting to the time portal in Dinopolis. The cyborg is named Sorin. Follow him into the tower entrance. You'll fight 2 reptite guards. After you defeat them, they'll run away. enter into the dino head door and go downstairs to the prison cell and Crono will be shocked and angered at the discovery of a dead skeleton remains of Marle with a pendent. Crono will get revenge at 2 reptite guards and go berserk and kill them in revenge. Afterwards he swears and use profanity at Magus and Glenn and tells him his frustration and that they need to go to the time portal.

Go back upstairs and go in the dino head door to the right or left depending on what Marle did in the past. to the right go up, right down and go left and up to the staircase. Go up the right hallway and the right open door and up the staircase, go down the narrow hallway to a save point and save your game.
Go in the arena room and jump down and you'll meet Coyopa. Crono will lose his temper and Coyopa will call his reptite guards. You'll fight 5 Reptites in round 1, 2 Gigasaur and Lizardactyl in round 2, 3 reptites and 2 Gigasur in round 3. After you defeat the enemies Coyopa will feel threaten and Magus will reveal that he lied about being space travelers. Coyopa will retreat in the portal room, follow him up the door, you'll meet with Yaluk and Coyopa who you'll fight. After they get defeated. Sorin the cyborg will show up and go in the time portal, Crono, Magus and Glenn will follow him back to 64,999,995 BC the moment when the Dragon Tooth changed history. Sorin will active self destruct mode and run over to the dragon tooth and blow it up killing himself. Crono, Magus, Glenn will encounter King Zeal and you have a choice, to fight the king or save Ayla.
Choose to save Ayla because she is a powerful ally. The spell will be disrupted and King Zeal will run away. The agent will run over to Ayla and they'll take her to Aylas hut for Schala to heal her. Ayla cannot join you at this time and Schala will tell them she'll take care of Ayla. 

===The Stain of Regency===

There's nothing you can do but go back to the Mystic Mountains and go in the time portal back to the year 2305 AD. Talk to Belthasar and he will explain that Marle is still stuck in the past in 1 AD but that she should be okay. Go down the elevator and rest in the infirmary.

===The Founding of Guardia===

Meanwhile in 1 AD the reptite timeline is broken and Marle will be in Astur Hill when there is snow on the ground. Marle will wake up and she will be greeted by 2 Guardia soldiers and Cedric the executor and invite her to meet them at camp. '''This is also the toughest scenario since Marle is the weakest character in design which also the worst part in the game.''' Make sure Marle equips Rage Band. Go down the screen and get Shield, Mid Ether and Power Seal. Exit down and you'll be in the overworld of 1 AD.

Before you head to the battlefield make sure you buy a bow and arrow Hoarfrost and get cured, also save your game. Then go in the battlefield, head up one screen and you'll enter the battlefield war zone. Run up and save the Guardia soldier fighting the Porreguard and cast Ice spells on him. Then run up to the chest fighting PorreGuard and get the elixir, run right and down and you'll fight Avianchaos and Porreguard and 2 Porreguard. Talk to Kilwala to get a Mid-Ether. Run down the screen and you'll meet Cedric who is now a captain of the guards instead of the surviving fugitive in Reptites timeline. Cedric will discuss with Marle on how he is going to kill Antaeus. He will ask Marle for help to defeat the Heckran, choose yes and run down to fight the boss Heckran and 2 Porreguards. Cast Ice 2 spell until Heckran and 2 Porreguards is defeated. After the battle get Mid-Tonic and go to the save point and save your game. Then run right and you'll meet up with Cedric and Antaeus who will duel with each other. It turns out Cedric had the frozen flame power and Antaeus is trying to stop him. The Porreguard will try to ambush Cedric and Marle will shoot him down but distracts Cedric and Antaeus steals the frozen flame. Marle will question whether she interfered with history and Antaeus will transform into an Omnicrom boss. She will fight Antaeus. Cast Ice 2 until he is defeated. After the battle Cedric will grab the frozen flame and invite Marle to visit his tent. After the war is won have Marle examine the tree to get a '''speed tab''' in the dead end area.

Exit out of the Battlefield from the way you came in and you meet Cedric and the Soldier having a conversation. Once Cedric leaves the soldier will reveal to Marle that he is Agent 12 from the future. Go down and exit out in the overworld. Before you leave, stop by Cedric's hut. Afterwards go to Astur Hill and go up until you reach the time portal Agent 12 will escort Marle who will enter into it with him. Marle will go to 2305 AD in Chronopolis.

===The Gray Forgotten===

Talk to Belthasar and save your game. Go down the elevator and in the infirmity to talk with Crono who's with Magus, Glenn, who Marle will be reunited with. Crono will explain what happened and how he restored the timeline and Robo and Lucca and Belthasar will come in the room, and they'll have a discussion about the civil war against the Central Regime and about the time traveler Xamoltan and that they're threating nuclear war against the Central Regime. After the meeting is over, go up the elevator and exit Chronopolis. Head over left west to the underground station. And go down to the Central Regime castle and talk to the captain of the guard and he will explain the situation concerning the underground rebellion and will invite you to join the fight against the rebels. Choose yes and you will jump down on the rebel base into one of the rooms. Go down the ladder and go up in the door under you go in the main room.  Attack Krawlie and Proto 3 and defeat them. Then check the display information which will tell you about the cooling room and power room. Go right to the east area and you'll fight Krawlie and Proto 3 and defeat them. Go in the east door conveyor belt room, there is a '''Speed Tab''' located in the Missile facility on the right side. Exit out of the room and go down and fight Krawlie and Proto 3 again, there is an elixir in the chest. Go up the ladder on the second floor, go down south to the cooling room, shut off the cooling power and you'll be ambushed by Krawlie, Display and Proto 3 which you defeat as usual. After you defeat them, a Reptite leader named Cakulha will talk to the party and will ask a question "Why did you destory my world?" which you have 3 answers to choose from
* The human world existed first.
* To return to prehistory.
* To pursue a great evil, King Zeal.
Choose the third answer and he will disappear. Then exit the room, go up and left and down the ladder to the first floor. Go down in the Southwest corner, go up the ladder on the second floor, go right and go down into the computer backup power control room and you'll fight Proto and Display and defeat them, then shutoff the backup power. Cakulha will appear again and talk to the party and will ask a question "What happens to those in erased timelines?" which you have 3 answers to choose from
* They painlessly never existed.
* They are killed.
* They return to the planet's dream.
Choose the third answer and he will disappear. Go up out of the door and go back down the ladder to the first floor. Check the display monitor until it says Cooling system not in use, Backup power not in use. Go up north in the door and open the left chest to get '''Dreamguard''' Go up the door again and you'll be ambushed by 2 Krawlies and defeat them, there is a save point which you can save your game. Go up the north door and talk to the reptite leader Cakulha and he will ask you a question "What is your true aim?"
* To protect the timeline.
* To stop those who threaten peace.
* To ensure the planet's safety.
Choose the third answer and Cakulha will come to his senses and agree to stop the nuclear missile launch, but not before a rebel Krawlie turns against Cakulha and kills him. Fight Krawlie and display and defeat them. Go to the computer and you'll find out you can't stop the missile launch as it already launched in the air. But then a cutscene shows Agent 12 in the flying car Epoch comes to the rescue and fires the laser on the missile and blows it up and brings the Epoch for landing. The party will report back to captain of the guard and you'll be rewarded a measly 2500 Gold.

===Animal-Like Persistence===

Exit the castle and go to the station and go back to Chronopolis and talk to Belthasar. Go down the elevator and talk to Glenn and you'll have a meeting with Belthasar which Glenn with lead the party. At this point in the game the player can get in a flying car time machine called Epoch which they can travel around time locations except for 2305 or End of Time. You can do sidequest missions if you want.
Otherwise go to the year 64,999,995 BC and go to Aylas hut and talk to Schala and she will tell you to go to the Singing Mountain. Go in the cave and you'll end up at the waterfall. Climb up the bridge ladder that was supposed to be a ladder which is part of the 2 percent unfinished part, since Square Enix issued a cease and desist when this beta prototype game version was made. 
Note There is a '''Speed Tab''' which can be got by Kiwala. You need to pester him until he gives the player one.
Go up to the Reptite leader Yaluk and talk and have a meeting with Yaluk. After the meeting is over, go down the bridge ladder and out of the cave and exit Singing Mountain and fly the Epoch 2 over to Aylas Tent and talk to Schala. The meeting will be interupted by a caveman named Kong who will challenge Glenn to a Frog catching contest at the Hunting Range which Glenn accepts. Exit Aylas Tent and head over to the Hunting Range and you'll play a minigame with Kong on catching 4 frogs.

First of all, run up to the Jungle tree and Glenn will slash his sword at the tree and a a frog with come out so catch it. Slash at Gnasher to get a second frog, run up Northeast and catch the third frog. Run down and catch the fourth frog. Climb up the vine and run west to and you'll be at another screen, climb down the vine and have Glenn examine the tree on the left and he'll summon a fifth frog to catch. Exit the right screen and go back to the main entrance and go up the screen and you'll be at a pond, throw the rock at 60 degrees and you'll catch the sixth frog. Exit down the screen and climb up the vine and run along the ledge and catch the seventh frog at a dead end. Then go back down the vine and exit right to the next screen and talk to the chief to perform the ceremonial dance. This is a memory game so copy the dance movements and touch the blue stars as you go north, south, east, west exactly as the apprentice does it. If you do the moves just right, you'll win an eighth frog. Go to the entrance and the contest will end and Glenn will be declared the winner by Kong. You'll get a Lode Armor for your prize. Schala will talk to Glenn and they'll have a party although it will be dark, talk to everybody at the party. Then Magus will have a meeting with his sister Schala. The next morning Schala will send the party off. Ayla is still resting so she won't join your party just yet. Get on the Epoch 2 and go to 2305 AD and go down the elevator and have a meeting with Belthasar and will tell you his plan for taking out the Vanguard.

===The Glare of Midnight===

Go to the shuttle and take the Epoch 2 time machine and go to 605 AD and land near Mystic Den forest and go inside. You'll meet with Kasmir who corners Flea a transgender man or woman. Glenn will intervene and Kasir will have 2 Henchman attack Flea but get defeated. Flea will take off, but the 2 Henchman are still not defeated so defeat them as usual. Then talk to Flea, then go up the screen and talk to Slash who will easily take out 2 Henchman. Go up 2 screens north and you see a showdown between Ozzie and Kasmir which Ozzie defeats who turns out to be an illusion. Talk to Ozzie and he'll tell you to go to Kasmir's Fort. Exit the forest, fly the Epoch 2 by the front entrance and enter Kasmirs fort.

Once you enter Kasmirs fort, you'll meet up with Ozzie, Slash, Flea and they'll discuss the plan to invade and defeat Kasmir. Then Ozzie will throw all 3 party members to the second floor. You'll get ambushed by 3 Hench and defeat them. Head right to talk with Slash, then you'll fight 3 Grimalkins followed by 2 more battles and defeat them. Then go up and witness Slash fighting Kasmirhenc and then you'll fight Kasmirhenc. Afterwards head down 2 screens to the entrance. Go in the left door and you'll meet with Flea who will throw a fireball. This is kind of tricky so you'll have to hit the fireball until you hit the Deceased skeleton twice. Afterwards open the chest to get '''Steampunch''' A weapon for Robo. Go left in the door and run up the hallway, you'll be ambushed by Grimalkins, Green Imp and Hench which you can defeat. Go up one room to meet with Flea. Then open the chest to get '''Lode Armor''' Then go  all the way down the hallway to the room and you'll fight Grimalkin and Green Imp. Go to the main entrance and talk to Ozzie and choose Go Up. You'll be on the second floor, you'll be ambushed by 3 Hench that you fight. Go up and Ozzie will be in a jam. You'll play the Guillotine execution mini game where you have to trap the Green Imps that wanders around the room to be sliced to death. If you fail, you have to start over, once you kill all of the Green Imps. Go down the stairs and open the chest to the right and get '''Caliburn''' for Glenn. Open the chest right next to Ozzie and you'll get an item. Then talk to Ozzie and he will head back. Go all the way back to the main entrance and go right and go to a save point and you'll meet up with Ozzie, Slash, Flea who tells the player to use the save point which the party hops up to the third floor. Go up in the hallway and fight Grimalkins. Go up the door and open the chest to get '''Sakki''', go up the stairs and fight 2 Hench. Try to go up the door and Slash will come out and tells the party he managed to steal the Masamune sword. Go all the way back to the entrance and Slash will tell the party that the monsters were gassed to death. A cutscene with Flea and Ozzie will battle Kasmir, then King Zeal will teleport to the room and then teleport Ozzie, Flea and Kasmir away. The party members and Slash arrive but they're gone. Slash will give Glenn the Masamune and run off. 

Go all the way back to the entrance and go in the Epoch 2 and travel to the year 19,995 BC and head over to Beast Forest, go west of the screen and you'll meet with 4 characters 2 Masa and 2 Mune who will talk to each other, then, Glenn will throw the Masamune back in the ocean. The timeline will be restored and Porre and Medina will no longer feud with Guardia and the Vanguard in 605 and 1005 AD will disappear. You may visit 605 AD and go to the castle to see Queen Leene but you won't be able to see King Guardia XXI. You can also explore the towns and you'll find out King Guardia XXI sneaked off to the town tavern in Dorino. When you're done go to the year 2305 AD and go down the elevator to have a meeting with Belthasar and he will tell you a meeting with Guardia 1005 AD is about to start. Marle will have to be in the party.

===The Darkness of Noon===
When you're done go to the year 1005 AD and at this point make sure you visit the Truce Inn, residence home and go to the market to shop and visit Leene Square and talk to people because sadly at this point, Guardia will get invaded and you'll no longer get to visit 3 places in Truce. Go in Guardia Castle and talk to King Guardia XXXIII at the throne room and go to the kitchen basement where King Guardia XXXIII will start the meeting with Porre and Medina about their grievances and getting independence from Guardia monarch system with King Guardia XXXIII is stubborn about change and coming to an agreement. Porre soldiers and the Medina monsters will demonstrate magic and King Guardia XXXIII will ask them to take a break. Then agree to continue the meeting, but it will get interrupted by a soldier who gets attacked and will inform the king his castle has been invaded. Go to the main entrance and you'll see Guardia soldier and the Porre soldier fighting. The Guard will tell Marle the castle has been invaded and Zenan Bridge is overrun and that enemies and Mystics led by Kasmir are teleporting in the castles defenses and the war at the castle begins. Masa and Mune will help out in the war invasion. Go to left basement and get supplies and get Medeacrown and other healing items. Go to the throne room and fight Reapers. Then go to the right tower to save Marle's 3 teachers. Then go back down and go to the left tower and you fight 2 Sentry. Afterwards go in the kings room and you'll meet an old enemy named Dalton who earlier rallied up Porre and Medina soldiers to invade Guardia to seek revenge. He will tell the party about the Black Wind Unit Operation and is seeking to overthrow Guardia and set up a Porre Kingdom.

You'll be fighting a boss battle against Dalton Plus and 2 Sorcerers. Make sure you kill 2 Sorcerers as they can heal Dalton. You'll want Magus in your party and equip Cyan Armor use his Double Tap to deal 17,600 HP damage. After the fight Dalton will pause and show the players the destruction of Truce at Leene Square, Lucca's Gato Robot defeats 2 Porre soldiers. The residence home being invaded by Porre soldiers and people getting killed. But at Lucca's House Taban turns on the claw machine and defeats a Porre soldier. Masa and Mune getting defeated by Kasmir. Dalton will make fun of Truce getting burned and Marle will get angry and kick Dalton out of the room and down the window. The cutscene goes back to King Guardia XXXIII who panics and makes a bad choice to shove the guard and run up the stairs to look for his daughter Marle and put himself in danger. King Zeal will storm the treasury room and kill 1 guard and the other guard runs away and steals the moon stone. Then have Marle run down the stairs to the throne room and they'll helplessly watch King Guardia XXXIII who's gets frozen by King Zeal. Zeal shows the Moon Stone and then Marles father gets teleported off into the darkness where he dies and is never seen again. Dalton who falls down from the tower attacks the guard and steals the Masamune and walks off with Kasmir.

After the invasion is over, there will be a meeting with Montcrief and the Chancellor about the destruction of Truce and reveals that Dalton used Porre to serve King Zeal. Marle is upset her father is gone for good. The Chancellor is angry at Montcrief at what's to become of Truce and Montcrief will declare Kingdom Guardia to be Guardia independent of Porre. Crono and Marle will be declared King Crono and Queen Marle and Marle will ask Chancellor to be in charge of the cleanup of Truce while Marle and her party survey the damage in Truce and get revenge at King Zeal for killing her father. Marle and Crono will sleep together in bed at Cronos house which managed to survived the invasion. Crono and Marle will discuss what happened in Guardia and Lucca will come upstairs and give them the good news that his cats, his mother survived and that her house was protected by security, her robot Gato survived and took out 5 monsters and her house is now an orphanage for homeless children. Crono's mother now is helping out the survivors. At this point you can no longer visit the Truce Inn, 1 Truce residence and the Truce marketplace since it will remain in ruins for the rest of the game. However, the player can still visit Crono's house, the 1 remaining residence next to Crono's house, Mayors Manor, Taban's house, Cathedral, Guardia Castle and the Truce Ferry, but at Leene Square however is in ruins and there are homeless children and people cleaning up the mess. At this point in the game you can now do the Taban's Orphan sidequest.

===Stop the Porre Lab!===

Once you're done, go back to 2305 AD and talk to Belthasar. He will explain that King Guardia XXXIII didn't have much time to live and he would've died from a heart attack and that the king would've taken control of the meeting and that Marle is getting tired of doing errands. Belthasar will send the party to meet with Agent 12 to meet the reptite Cakulha and Belthasar will explain that the altered timeline without the vanguard caused Cakulha to survive and that Yaulk is captured and held in the Porre lab which got destroyed in 1006 AD. Marle and the party will go storm the Porre lab in Forest Ruins to rescue Yaulk.

Go to 1005 AD Land the Epoch near the forest ruins. Go in the forest ruins and talk to Hutch and he will explain that Toma XIII has been missing since going into the secret Porre Lab, the party will get the idea to bring Toma from 605 AD to 1005 AD. Exit the forest go in the Epoch 2 and travel to the year 605 AD to recruit Toma who is located in Dorino Inn. Since there's no room in the Epoch 2, he will instead go Truce Canyon where the party needs to meet up with him and he will be escorted by Agent 12 in the time portal door. Go in the portal door or Epoch 2 and go to 2305 AD and go down the elevator and talk to Belthasar and talk to Toma who messes around with the computer buttons he will tell you to meet him in the dispatch chamber. Go up to the dispatch chamber and go to the year 1005 AD and Toma will tag along with the team. Then exit Denadoro Mountains and go to Truce ticket office and go on the ferry ride to Medina. Go up to the Forest ruins and talk to Hutch and talk to Toma and he will open the passageway to Porre Lab hideout. Go inside, open the chest to get '''Elixir'''. Then go down the second basement and read the door on the furthest right door to receive the Nu remote control. Fight 2 Sentry and open the chest to get '''Full Ether'''. Also make sure you get '''Hermescap''' Then examine the skulls in the walls to remove them to lower the floor spike barrier so you can guide the Nu down and left to the Organ. 

After the Nu is in front of the piano go down to the teleporter and you get teleported to another room where you will fight Terramutant boss. Use Magus Double Tap to deal over 17,600 damage to defeat him quickly. Then you'll meet up with Toma, since there's an electric barrier blocking your path talk to Luccia and she'll tell you to get pilers. Go next door to the library and get pilers. Go to the next room in the power generator room and use the pilers to cut the power. Go down the hall you'll be ambushed by Terramutant and Sentry. Fight them until they're defeated. Open the chest to the left to get '''Hermescap'''. Go to the room with the Mutant behind the laser security beams, shut off the power and get the Mutant to break through the barrier and you'll fight Mutant until you defeat it. Open the chest to get '''Atlas''' weapon for Robo. Go left out of the room and go down the stairs, if you go in the first door on the left and talk to a man, he will transform into a Mutant and you'll fight him. Go in the second door to meet with Toma and there's a chest which contains '''Lapis'''. The third door has a save point and a place your party can sleep. Open the chest by the third door to get '''Elixir'''. Go down 2 rooms and you'll find the hideout lab where Toma XIII is held captive on a bed. Turn off the machine and the alarm will sound. The man and woman  French speaking scientists will run up to the player and ask them what have they done. Toma will run in and both he and Toma XIII will escape from the lab. The soldier will bring in the alien monster named Coyopa will attack the player which you need to defeat. Then go up to the 2 scientists and a man will run in the room informing them they have activated a self destruct sequence and tells them they have the datacube which the party member steals from him. Then run all the way back near the teleport entrance to tell Luccia to escape. Go to the teleporter and choose return. They will arrive at the church basement and William Ishito and the little boy will run up to them. The little boy will introduce himself as Norris. Luccia, Norris and William runs off and Toma and Toma XIII also runs off. Exit the church basement and exit out of the Forest Ruins go to the Ferry Ticket Office, and you can visit Tomas Shire if you want it. Otherwise go to Truce which is still in ruins and will be for the remainder of the game or just go in the portal closet in Medina to go to Chronopolis and go down the basement to have a meeting with Belthasar and Melchior who will discuss the plan to get Schala to get the power from Flames of Eternity to lure out King Zeal and will inform the player that Ayla can finally join the party late in the game. Personally, I'm annoyed that the Kajar fan developers make you wait to get Ayla late in the game.

===Once More Unto the Breach===

Go to the Epoch and go to 64,999,995 BC, go to Aylas hut, you'll want to get on Ayla as she is the best fighter in the game, you'll want to go back to the coliseum in 2305 AD and level her up and get her Tech points. She won't be able to use Charm anymore unless you use Twin Charm with Marle. If you want Aylas Bronze Fist you'll have to level her up to level 96 which can take a while. Then go back to 2305 AD Chronopolis go down the elevator and talk to Cakulha the reptite and you'll give him the datacube. At this point choose your party carefully for this next mission and make sure Magus leads the party you'll need him for sure to make it easier for beginners unless you want a challange. Rest in the entity, then the next morning Marle will have a meeting with the party about their doubts about the Flames of Eternity. Magus will tell them to fight anyway. After the meeting, you'll talk to Belthasar and go in the dispatch chamber on a path to the Mammon Machine.

'''Make sure you bring Magus for this mission the enemies are hard and will drain your HP. You'll want to use equip Magus with Cyan Cover and use Double Tap Tech to deal over 17,600 HP, and you may want to bring Crono and Ayla along, otherwise this will be a harder mission as the enemies are brutal here.''' Follow the path down, get '''Sterling''' from the chest, then go right, get '''Clarent''' from the chest. Go in the room and get '''Ruggedband''' accessory. Exit right of the room and go to a save point to save your game. Go up 2 rooms and you'll enter a room with a save point, go left and go up and left of the room until you in the Mammon Machine room. Go to the mammon machine and throw the flame of eternity piece at the machine and King Zeal will teleport and show up and taunt the party. Then out of nowhere the portal gate opens and sucks Schala into the portal and destroy the Mammon Machine. King Zeal will run up and Glenn will attack Zeal and slash him with the sword and drops the flame of eternity piece which the party member grabs. At this point depending on who you choose, if you're successful you will get '''Rainbwshrd''' piece which can be used to forge powerful weapons.

'''Magus path'''

Magus path will be very easy for beginners which I highly recommend, he will run into the portal and arrive at Magus Castle. Open the chest to get '''Shogunsuit'''. Go down the screen and go up the left room and go down until you reach a portal go in it to teleport to Queen Zeals throne room where Magus is reunited with his sister Schala. King Zeal will teleport and you'll have to battle King Zeal, use Magus Doubletap to make quick work of King Zeal and you'll win a '''Megalixir''' and find a '''Rainbwshrd'''. King Zeal fires a fireball which Magus deflects but he accidently kills Schala who becomes one with Lavos and the story ends.

'''Ayla's Path'''

Ayla's path is also easy for beginners. Ayla will arrive in the jungle Go up the path until you go in another area, climb the vine and go right and you'll enter the factory. Go up the door and Ayla will meet 2 Reptite leaders. You'll get a '''Rainbwshrd''' reward for getting to the end.

'''Crono's Path'''

Crono's path is actually hard but if you have a Rainbow Sword and level him up above level 50 and give him a status protection helmet and equip him with a Rainbow Sword you bought at the coliseum. you should be able to get through Crono's path. Crono will run through various paths throughout time fighting monsters. He will start off in his bedroom and will be reminded of the countless enemies he's killed throughout time. Go downstairs and fight 2 shadows, use Lightning 2 tech or Luminaire. Then you'll see a flashback of Cronos childhood and learn he once had a dad who was alive as he wants to practice sword fighting with his dad. Exit out of the house and you'll be at the cathedral, fight 2 more Shadows and defeat them as usual, you'll see a sad funeral of his dad who actually passed away which explains why his mother Gina was a widow to Crono. Go down and you'll enter Zenan Bridge, fighting Gold, red and blue Eaglets and defeat them as usual all the way to the end of the bridge. You'll get a cutscene of Guardia soldiers explaining to Crono about Porren soldiers and use swear words. Crono will head back to the castle with the guards. Go right of the screen, someone will show Crono not only he killed monsters but erased them from existence. Then he will fight the 3 Lavos core bits. Quickly get the left Bit and center bit, wait until the right bit shuts down its defenses, use Confuse tech and pummel it until it's defeated. Watch out for the status removal otherwise you'll get a random status aliment like Chaos or lock, which will make it harder to fight. You'll get a '''Rainbwshrd''' reward for the hard challenge.

'''Marle's Path'''

Marle's path is hard. I do not recommend this path, only choose this path as Marle if you want a hard challenge and put up with Marles worst tech abilities and lousy bow attack. You'll get to explore Marle's flashback memories of her childhood upbringing and her mother who eventually passed away. After exploring all of the memories you'll encounter the boss Yakra who's a pain in the butt to fight. You'll need to cast haste on Marle and you'll need shield and barrier because Yakra needle attack will do alot of damage and you'll need to cure often. This tedious boss fight which will drag on until he is defeated, you'll get a '''Rainbwshrd''' for the hard challenge.

'''Lucca's Path'''

Lucca will start off inside Tabans House, and will be taunted by someone telling her brainpower is nothing more than a tool to be used for others with more power and that she may not live to see a bright future. There is a flashback scene where Lucca's mom Lara tells Lucca she's missing out on the school dance and will show Lucca building a robot. Lara will complain that Lucca is playing with her toy inventions and Lucca will talk back and tell her she's busy. Go up the door and you'll see a flashback of the orphan boy that you may rescue or will rescue from the monsters in Fiona's forest. You'll see Lucca rescuing the orphaned boy. Go to the edge of entrance and you'll see a woman residence yelling to Lucca that the orphanage is on fire. You'll see 2 robots lighting the place on fire. Fight both R series and defeat them with Napalm, Mega Bomb or Flare and you'll defeat them. You'll learn 2 orphaned boys were playing with fire and apologize for their behavior. You'll get '''Rainbwshrd''' for your reward.

'''Robo's Path'''

Robo's path will be challenging, Robo will arrive in the factory and will see flashback of a man a woman programming Robo and Atropos and how he originally dealt with Lavos doomsday apocalypse. Go down 2 rooms, climb up the ladder and you'll fight robots and R Series. You'll encounter Atropos XR who you'll fight as a boss battle, this fight will drag on. Use Thorhammer, Vulcanpulse and heal Robo since this is a tricky boss fight just like in Chrono Trigger Geno Factory 2300 AD. You'll get a '''Rainbwshrd''' for your reward.

'''Glenn's Path'''
Glenn will start off at the Denadoro Mountain waterfall area, you will be ambushed by Free Lancers, Grimalkin, use Poison mist or Water 2, or use Braveheart Tech which will help Glenn out in the fights. Go up one screen, go left another screen. You will see Cyrus showing no mercy to the Mystics. Talk to Cyrus, open the chest to get '''Elixir''', fight more Free Lancers, go down and left. Go down 2 ladders and open the chest to get a '''Virilehelm'''. Go right across the bridge and talk to Cyrus. You will watch a cutscene with Magus and Cyrus fighting each other. Magus will knock over Cyrus as opposed to the original way he killed him by burning his body in the original Chrono Trigger and knock him over the waterfall. Glenn will fight Magus in a boss fight. Use Braveheart if you have less HPs so you can make short work of Magus. After you defeat him, you'll get a '''Rainbwshrd''' for your reward. Go down the ladder. Cyrus is badly injured and tells Glenn he wants revenge, but Glenn tells him not all of them are bad. He then passes away but not before turning into Kasmir and the scenario ends.

===Born in Sin, Die in Sin===

After you finish 3 scenarios, you'll get to watch a video flashback cutscene with Belthasar and Zeal having a discussion about the Flames of eternity being under security lock. Then the flame of eternity will break loose and possess Zeals body who will attack the guards including Agent 12 and escape. Agent 12 will get up and Belthasar will run up to him and ask if he's okay. They then both run after zeal. Glenn will accuse Belthasar of reviving King Zeal and get away. You will need Crono in your party, go to the End of Time in the Epoch and talk to Spekkio and fight him. After the fight, Spekkio will explain that Gaspar the Guru of Time is at the beginning of time when Earth was born and terraforming. It would be wise to have Magus in your party as his Double Tap Cyan Cover glitch can easily Base and Ion monsters over 17,600 HP damage. Go in the pillar of light and you'll end up at the beginning of the planets birth.

===The Dreamtime===

Go down and you'll be ambushed by Base and Ion monsters which you need to defeat, go up and go left and you'll see Gaspar Guru of Time sleeping. Go back right and down and go left, go over to the chest and get a '''Goldstud''' accessory. Go up and you'll get blocked off by 4 Base monsters, defeat them and then go up meet with Gaspar Guru of Time. But then you'll get interrupted by a boss fight Eidolon, if you have Magus Double Tap and Cyan cover you should deal over 17,600 HP of damage and make short work of the boss. After the boss is defeated, after the boss fight, Crono will swear at Gaspar that he was hard to find. Gaspar will explain he was exploring the beginning of time. Crono will then have a meeting with Gaspar. Crono will walk away and King Zeal will teleport to Gaspar and accuse him of his wife and daughter being murdered and pressure him to join him. But Gaspar refuses and warns him of Lavos brainwashing him. King Zeal holds up the flame of eternity and causes portal doors to appear around him. Crono tries to attack Zeal but gets knocked into the pit and gets knocked out. Ayla or another party member will rescue him, Gaspar will go to Chronopolis and they'll bring back Crono who will be out of the party for the time being since his mind is corrupted and needs to rest. You can buy supplies from the guard. You can also save your game.

===Dalton's Last Stand===

Go to the Epoch to 19,995 BC and go inside Zeal Ruins, make sure you have Magus in your party with Cyan Cover as his Double Tap will make this section so much easier in this game. You will see Dalton swearing and complaining about King Zeals place and going back to the skies. Go to the lower left room and fight Jinn and Sorcerer, open the chest to get '''Verneshot''' You'll also fight Thrashers and Bashers, go through the maze and go up to the center room to open the chest to get '''Truesilver'''. Go all the way to Northwest end of the room to meet Dalton who will complain about security system and will walk in the door. Examine the left statue to open the door, Follow after Dalton in the next room, open the chest to get '''Galatine'''. Then go right and you'll be ambushed by Thrashers and Bashers in the hallway, go right in the next room, and you'll be ambushed by 6 more Thrashers and Bashers, after you defeat them, open the chest to get '''Empirehand'''. Go up to the next room and open the right chest to get '''Kerubim'''. Go up the stairs, you'll see Dalton murmur and complain about the password system as he enters into the next room. Go up the set of stairs, go up in the left door and you'll fight 4 of Thrashers and Bashers which you need to defeat. Read one of the books on the shelf which mentions water. Exit out the room and go in the upper right door and you'll enter the password. The password to enter is "Water". Go up in the door and open the chest to the right and get '''Infernus'''. Go up the door and you'll be ambushed by 2 Sorcerers, defeat them and enter the door up. Open the chest to get '''Cinderella'''. Go to the save point to save your game. Then go up the door and you'll meet Melchior, Belthasar and King Zeal who have a meeting with Dalton and 3 of them will teleport away. Dalton will swear and tell the party he plans on reviving Zeal and will seek revenge against the party members in the Dalton Plus boss fight. If Magus is in your party and is wearing Cyan Cover armor, use Double Tap tech and he will make short work of Dalton Plus and deal over 17,600 HP. Once you defeat him Dalton will say his final words about the glory of Porre before he dies in the room and will be no more. Go in the teleporter to teleport out of the Zeal Ruins. There will be a cutscene with Melchior, Belthasar and King Zeal. Melchior will argue with Zeal about Lavos, but Zeal insists that part of Lavos is still alive and wants to revive Zeal. After the meeting they go up the screen.

===Let Us Part in Zealous Regret===

Go in the Epoch 2 and fly over to Sargon's house and talk to Sargon and will explain his house is the only place to activate the Sun Stone. Go over to the Commons area, talk to Melchior, Belthasar and they'll explain that King Zeal headed up to the North Cape. Exit the Commons, go up the North Cape and talk to King Zeal and he'll explain to you about Lavos getting revenge about what happened in the future and explain his plan to use the Flame of eternity and to use the sun stone to revive Zeal. He will leave and teleport away, you'll fight Son of Sun. You'll have to attack the correct flame otherwise it will counterattack. After you defeat the Son of Sun, the portal vortex gate will appear. Leave the North Cape and walk all the way down to Sargon house. Don't bother getting on the Epoch. After you enter Sargon house, there will be a meeting with Sargon, Melchior, Belthasar. Sargon will argue with them about his frustration of the miserable life he lives in. He then tries to active the Sun Stone which fails. Crono tells him the power has been sealed and walks in the room and tells Sargon that the charge is lost and it is a moonstone. Then everyone will leave Sargon alone. At this point Crono has rejoined the party and you can now play as him. Go back to the Epoch and go to 2305 AD to Chronopolis.

===Dreaming Across Time===

Gaspar will scold Melchior, Belthasar for attempting to revive Zeal and Melchior will apologize and will stop the fight between Belthasar and Gaspar. Then the party will enter the room. Then they'll have a discussion about the distortion of time at the vortex gate the party witnessed. They'll explain the lost time and space where everything is distorted. They'll give the party a time egg to use to open the vortex gate portal. After the meeting you can give  Melchior a '''Rainbwshrd''' to make a powerful weapon for your party member. You can also talk to Belthasar about the side quests you haven't done yet which you can still do. Refer to the side quest section for more information.

Once you are done leveling up and are finished with the sidequests you can now get ready to go to 19,995 BC and go to North Cave and examine the vortex portal, Belthasar will apologize for his reckless behavior. Use the Time Egg and you'll enter the time distortion dimension. Make sure you bring Magus along because this dungeon is the hardest dungeon ever since some of the enemies can kill your team. Once you enter the Ocean Palace Zeal type room. Go left and open the chest to get '''Crimsehood'''. Then go right 2 screens, open the chest to get '''Arco Iris'''. Go left in the main entrance, go up and follow the winding path, you'll encounter a Frozen flame that'll talk to you continue on. Go to the right at the dead end to fight 2 Goons. Then open the chest only to find out it's empty. Continue up the winding hallway, you'll fight Ruminators and Mutants, defeat them and continue on. Go up in the door and you'll meet Nu who will offer to take you outside. Choose Stay and Nu will tell you that your party needs to split up into 2 groups. '''Whatever you do, leave out Marle she's the weakest party member and will make your game harder. Unfortunately, Magus can be in one group. Be careful of the enemies as they can easily kill the party members especially the deadly Hexapod enemies.'''

Have your first party stand on the tile switch, then switch out to a second party to cross the bridge and stand on the tile switch next to the right door. Then switch out to the first party and cross the bridge and enter the left door, go right and go down and go up the door and read the note which mentions only a fool can fix the bridge. Go out the door and up the left door, go up the room and run right in the hallway, go up in the door open the chest to get '''Grandleon'''. Go down and go left of the hallway go down and go right and go down the door and stand on the tile. Switch to the second party, go in the right door, open the chest to get '''Impax'''. Go up the stairs and there's a path that will split up, you'll encounter the frozen flame who will talk to you, afterwards go in the left door, go up 2 times until you meet the old man named Fool. He will follow you around. Go back down 2 times. Go right and go in the right door. You'll run in a narrow hallway go right in the room, go up the stairs there will be a chest that will disappear 2 times before you can finally open it to get '''Atashblast'''. Go back left and go up the door and you'll meet up with the first party members. Stand on the tile switch and the old man Fool can cross the bridge. Switch over to the first party and go in the right door. Wow the Fool fixed the bridge very quickly I'm not sure how he can fix it so quickly since it takes time to fix or build the bridge. Anyways cross the bridge and go right and down the door. Then stand on the tile. Switch over to the second party and go down the room and then go down and right and then go up the door and run around the hallway and go up the door, then go right and down the door and stand on the right tile switch. 

Go in the door but you'll fight Hexapod, Ruminator. Defeat them and go up the door. Run along the narrow hallway and go up the door, go right and down the door and a save point will be created. You can then choose your party members. Make sure to bring Magus along. 

You can save your game. Go up in the teleporter room and you'll be teleported to a time distortion area from different time periods like with Lavos Core bits fight. This looks like a glitched game area like in Lufia 2 Rise of the Sinistrals Submarine Shire glitched Area. Go down a room and open the chest get '''Pallas''' touch the organ, go right into a room, go up to the chest to get another '''Pallas'''. Go down, watch out for the Synchrite robot, go right and fight 2 Laser Guard examine the computer screen then go left and go left into another room, go up the teleporter and the frozen flame will talk to you. Then enter the teleporter to another room, go right and down the room, go down and left and fight 3 Metal Mutes and defeat them. Open the chest to get '''Megalixir'''. Go up the room and you'll finally enter a room with the save point, save your game. 

Go in the distortion room, this is it the final boss, you will see King Zeal and Kasmir talking to each other, afterwards 7 party members will be in the summon room, go up to Kasmir and you'll fight him.
Make sure you have Magus in your party, equip Cyan Cover armor on him. Cast Double Tap Tech and he'll deal 17,600 damage. Kill the Summon, then take out Kasmir and he'll be defeated. Afterwards, go up one room and you'll meet with King Zeal who will talk about the Dream Devourer and about Lavos and reviving Zeal. Afterwards fight him use Magus Double Tap Tech and he'll deal 17,600 damage. Zeal's first form will be taken out, the second form with be King Zeal, Dream Lord, keep casting Magus Double Tap Tech and he'll deal 17,600 damage. Keep doing this and you'll beat the final boss. Afterwards enjoy the ending you deserve it.

Early on in the game, once you arrive in 2305 AD, there's a side quest at the Coliseum which will easily allow the player to get many prizes including Dream Team accessory which will give an auto life for the user that equips it, it also has Crono's most powerful sword in the game which the player can easily get early on in the game, also they can get Elixir and MegaElixir and Full Ether's early on in the game.

Tip: The player can easily level up quickly and get 496 exp points and 60 Tech points early on in the game by choosing hard mode and fighting 3 Nus and quitting right afterwards for 8 BP. Level up your characters and your game will be much easier to play through.

Go back and agree to take part in the assassination of Cambyses, you'll have to poison the food of Cambyses. Marle will give Cambyses poisoned soup and he will be poisoned to death. Go back to Cedric and he will give you '''Camilline'''. You can now escape 1 AD at Astur Hill to the end of time and the quest is done.

There are no enemies, since this is a confusing maze, there's a shortcut: Up the vines, left over the log, down the vines, then up the left-hand path to talk to Agent 9 who explains that he fell in love with a cavewoman and lost his datacube, but a reptite might be able to find it. Bring Ayla to see Yaluk in Singing Mountain. Go back to the Forest Maze to get the datacube. Go back in the Epoch 2 and go to the year 2305 in Chronopolis to meet with Belthasar in the basement. He will say it's okay to bring Agent 9 with his cavewoman girlfriend to 2305 AD. Go back to 64,999,995 BC and talk to Agent 9 and he will give you AgeanHide armor for Ayla and go to 2305 AD with his cavewoman in Chronopolis.

Go to Guardia Castle, Talk to Tata, Samuel.
