After doing so, Nizbel's [[Defense]] drops astronomically, leaving him weak to all other attacks. Avoiding this step makes the battle much more difficult, as all [[Tech]]s and attacks will do little to no damage. Once struck with Lightning, unleash powerful dual techs on him. Since [[Ayla]] is a mandatory party member for this battle, and her Tech pool is incredibly low at this point in the game, she should alternate between physically attacking Nizbel once his Defense is lowered and using [[Kiss]] on party members to recover from Nizbel's powerful Electric Discharge attack. Ideally, [[Marle]] should be the third party member present.
